Junior Graphic Designer Location: New York City Metro Area Compensation: $35 to $45/hour Work Arrangement: Remote Type: Freelance / Part-Time (Potential for Long-Term Engagement) About Us We are a specialized branding, design, and communications firm serving some of the world's most innovative airlines, aerospace companies, airports, private aviation brands, and transportation businesses. Our work includes brand identity development, aircraft livery design, executive presentations, advertising campaigns, digital content, visual storytelling, and strategic communications. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to work directly with our Senior Creative Director and support the execution of creative projects across aviation, aerospace, travel, and transportation clients. About the Role This is an design assistant position. You will work directly with the Senior Creative Director to help bring approved creative concepts and visual directions to life. This role is focused on execution, research, production support, mockups, visual exploration, and design refinement—not developing independent creative strategies or leading creative direction. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping transform ideas into polished visual work and who can effectively support a fast-paced creative environment. While there may be opportunities for increased creative input as the role evolves, the primary responsibility is to execute, refine, and support approved creative concepts. Responsibilities * Execute design work based on approved creative direction * Create multiple iterations and refinements of existing concepts * Build high-quality visual mockups and presentations * Develop 2D branded visualizations and concept renderings * Create mood boards, inspiration boards, and visual research packages * Conduct photo and image research across multiple platforms * Source imagery from stock photography and commercial image libraries * Research image licensing, usage rights, and permissions * Assist with client presentations and creative decks * Convert Keynote concepts into polished Adobe Creative Suite deliverables * Support branding, marketing, social media, and communications projects * Organize and maintain creative asset libraries * Assist with AI-generated visual concepts and rapid prototyping tools * Help prepare materials for client meetings and presentations * Participate in Zoom meetings and occasional in-person creative sessions Required Skills Strong working knowledge of: * Adobe Photoshop * Adobe Illustrator * Adobe InDesign * Canva * Apple Keynote * Google Slides * Microsoft PowerPoint Experience with mockup and visualization tools such as: * Placeit * Artboard Studio * Mockup World * Smartmockups * Similar presentation and visualization platforms Experience sourcing imagery from: * Getty Images * Shutterstock * Adobe Stock * Freepik * Unsplash * Pexels * Other commercial and editorial image libraries What We're Looking For * Strong attention to detail * Excellent organizational skills * Ability to work quickly and efficiently * Strong visual judgment * Ability to follow creative direction precisely * Comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions * Strong research skills * Resourceful and proactive problem-solving abilities * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously * Reliable communication and responsiveness Interest in aviation, aerospace, transportation, industrial design, travel, or luxury brands is highly desirable but not required.
