About Us We are a growing e-commerce brand specializing in fine jewelry, with a strong focus on content-driven storytelling. We operate multiple Shopify/WordPress sites and are expanding our visual content strategy to build immersive "theme pages" that combine atmosphere, education, and product presentation. We are looking for a talented, reliable, and efficient Graphic Designer to join us on a long-term, part-time basis. You will be responsible for creating various visual assets for each theme page, including section images, gift card designs, and website homepage banners. This is a remote, text-based collaboration. No calls or meetings required. --- Role Overview - Position: Part-Time Graphic Designer (Remote) - Commitment: At least 1 hour per day (pick a time range by yourself), Monday to Friday (weekend work is optional and will be paid if performed) - Hourly Rate: USD 3/hour (paid via Upwork) - Payment Schedule: Daily payments during the first week; weekly (every 7 days) thereafter - Communication: Entirely via text chat (Lark). No phone or video calls --- Key Responsibilities You will produce the following graphic assets per theme page: 1. Images for Each Section – Find matching images to use directly, or design your own. Each image must strongly align with the content of its corresponding section. If you choose not to follow our image suggestions, please update the alt text accordingly. 2. Gift Card Image – Design a gift card using the provided text, with appropriate fonts, background colors, and icons. Two sizes are required: one larger size (for parcel printing) and one smaller size (for webpage display). 3. Website Homepage Banner – Create a wide banner for the brand’s homepage. While text and buttons are not part of the final delivered image, we suggest including them in a demo version, so we can preview the layout before you deliver the final clean image. It’s great if you can also provide the suggested text. Additional Tasks: - Deliver all images to the designated Lark folder - Name files strictly according to our format (Theme ID + time + size) - Ensure all images are optimized for web performance (see size guidelines below) - Source or create images using only authorized/royalty-free sources --- Software/Tools for Design: Decide by yourself, we only care about delivering results --- What We Do NOT Need (To Set Clear Expectations) - ❌ No main product images – these are provided to you - ❌ No complex 3D rendering or heavy illustration work (unless you propose it) --- Our Ideal Candidate - Proven Graphic Design Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience, with a portfolio showcasing web-ready assets (banners, cards, section visuals) - Eye for Aesthetics: You understand color, composition, typography, and how to match visuals to thematic content - AI-Savvy: Comfortable using AI tools (Midjourney, DALL·E, Adobe Firefly, etc.) to generate or enhance images efficiently - Resourceful: Knows where to find high-quality, licensed images (iStock, Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, Pixabay, etc.) and avoids copyright infringement - Efficiency-Oriented: You balance quality with speed. We compare designers by both output quality and turnaround time - Clear Communicator: Excellent written English.
