Graphic Designer – Environmental Graphics (Murals, Wall Wraps, Signage) for School Districts

We are looking for skilled graphic designers to support a large environmental graphics project across multiple schools. This project includes designing hallway wraps, murals, and signage for real-world installation (vinyl wall graphics). Each school has its own identity, so the work varies in style while still needing to feel cohesive within each space. This is a fast-moving, 1–2 month project, and we are building a small team of designers who can work efficiently and handle multiple assignments. What You’ll Be Doing Designing large-scale environmental graphics (murals, wall wraps, signage) Creating 1–3 concept directions per assignment before refining. Developing final designs ready for production and installation Working from project packets (dimensions, photos, direction) Adapting designs across different schools and visual styles Requirements Experience with large-format / environmental design (murals, signage, wall graphics) Strong understanding of print production setup (scale, bleed, resolution) Ability to design using real-world measurements (inches/feet) Comfortable working in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines Nice to Have Experience designing for schools, public spaces, or branded environments Illustration or icon design skills Experience working across multiple visual styles Workflow You’ll receive a project packet with direction and measurements Provide 1–3 concept directions (loose design ideas, not final) One direction is selected and refined into a final design. Final designs are reviewed and may go through client revisions before final approval. The designer should have a strong understanding of designing for real-world spaces, scaling artwork accurately, and preparing files for production and installation. Familiarity with measurements in inches and feet is essential. The designer should be able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver high-quality work within established timelines.
