Graphic Designer (3D Focus) – Full Time, Remote

Job Overview We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer with 3D skills to join our creative team at Merch & Effect. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone creative, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in both graphic and 3D design, especially within retail, POSM, and brand activation projects. You will support the design and marketing team in creating visual assets for presentations, campaigns, and retail environments, working closely with the 3D team to bring concepts to life. Key Responsibilities 3D Design & Visualization Create 3D models of products, retail displays, and POSM materials Produce high-quality renders for presentations and client-facing materials Support the development of 3D mockups and simple retail layouts Assist in maintaining and organizing a 3D asset library Optimize 3D assets for different uses (presentations, web, etc.) Graphic & Creative Design Design visual assets for presentations, marketing materials, and social media Translate briefs into clear, visually engaging outputs Ensure consistency with brand guidelines across all deliverables Collaboration & Execution Work closely with design, marketing, and sourcing teams Take feedback and iterate quickly on designs Stay updated on design trends and tools Handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and quality What We’re Looking For Skills & Experience: 2-3 years of experience in graphic design, 3D design, or similar roles Intermediate skills in 3D modeling (preferably Blender) Familiarity with rendering tools (Eevee or Cycles is a plus) Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) Basic understanding of branding and visual communication Design & Technical Abilities: Good eye for layout, composition, and visual balance Understanding of lighting, materials, and texturing (3D basics) Ability to translate ideas and briefs into visual outputs Interest or exposure to retail, visual merchandising, or POSM is a plus Mindset Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy Proactive and willing to learn Organized and reliable in task execution Comfortable working on execution-heavy tasks Good communication and collaboration skills Work Setup Full-time (remote) Immediate availability preferred Budget: $600/month Long-term growth opportunity within the team
