Graphic Designer — Illustrator + Photoshop + AI | E-Commerce & Amazon

We are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to join our team on an ongoing, part-time basis. We operate an e-commerce consumer products business and need a designer who is highly skilled in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, works quickly, communicates well, and is comfortable using the latest AI image tools. This is an ongoing position with up to 20 hours per week for the right person. Compensation & Schedule - $10 USD/hour - Up to 20 hours per week - Must have some availability during U.S. Pacific Time, either mornings or evenings - Must be able to complete most assigned projects within 24 hours Adobe Illustrator — Expert Level Required Projects will include: - Editing and creating packaging dielines - Preparing production-ready packaging artwork - Product technical drawings - Vector illustrations and graphics - Modifying existing product illustrations - Creating and editing icons and other vector assets - Preparing files for manufacturers and printing Experience working with packaging dielines and print-production files is strongly preferred. Adobe Photoshop — Expert Level Required You should be highly proficient in Photoshop and comfortable handling projects including: - Product photo retouching and cleanup - Editing and manipulating existing photography - Background removal and replacement - Color correction and image enhancement - Creating graphics for e-commerce listings and marketing - Resizing, cropping and optimizing images for different platforms - Working with product photography while maintaining accurate product details - Preparing images for Amazon, Shopify and other e-commerce channels AI Image & Design Tools We are increasingly incorporating AI into our creative workflow. You should be comfortable learning and using modern AI image-generation and image-editing tools alongside Photoshop and Illustrator. Projects may include: - Taking existing stock photography and using AI to modify or adapt it for marketing campaigns - Adding, removing or replacing objects and backgrounds - Extending or reframing images for different formats - Creating product lifestyle concepts - Generating or modifying supporting visual elements - Taking AI-generated imagery and professionally finishing it in Photoshop - Maintaining product accuracy while using generative AI Please tell us which AI image/design tools you currently use and provide examples of AI-assisted work if available. E-Commerce Experience Experience working with e-commerce brands is strongly preferred, particularly: - Amazon sellers - Amazon listing images and graphics - Amazon A+ Content - Amazon Storefront graphics - Shopify - Consumer product packaging - Product photography and lifestyle imagery Experience working directly with an Amazon seller or e-commerce company is a major plus. Requirements You must: - Be expert level in Adobe Photoshop - Be expert level in Adobe Illustrator - Speak and write excellent English - Communicate clearly and respond promptly - Be comfortable receiving detailed instructions and feedback - Work quickly and accurately - Be able to complete most assignments within 24 hours - Have a fast and reliable internet connection - Provide an internet speed test as part of the application - Be available for some overlap with U.S. Pacific Time - Be available for up to 20 hours per week Ideal Candidate The ideal person is fast, detail-oriented, technically strong, comfortable switching between Photoshop and Illustrator, and capable of taking a project from instructions through a polished final file without requiring constant supervision. You should also be comfortable working with existing brand guidelines and maintaining consistency across packaging, Amazon, Shopify and other marketing materials.
