Graphic Designer Needed for Vehicle Wraps, Banners & Custom Guitar Wraps – Ongoing Work

We are looking for a talented, reliable graphic designer for ongoing design and production work involving vehicle wraps, large-format banners, custom guitar wraps/skins, signage, and other printed graphics. This is not just basic Photoshop work. We need someone who can take our ideas, reference images, logos, photos, and existing artwork and turn them into professional, visually striking, print-ready designs. Types of Projects • Full and partial vehicle wrap designs for cars, trucks, vans, etc. My understanding is that there are websites where we can get the precise templates for each type of car so it will just be your responsibility to make sure the design fits the templates • Large-format vinyl banners and signage • Custom guitar body wraps/skins based on specific guitar templates • Music, entertainment, sports, promotional, and business-themed graphics • Editing/enhancing supplied artwork and photographs • Rebuilding or recreating graphics when the original resolution is too low • Creating designs around specific physical objects, hardware, cutouts, pickguards, handles, windows, etc. We have all guitar .psd to make it easy Important Skills You should have strong experience with: • Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator • Vehicle wrap design and vehicle templates • Large-format printing and print-ready artwork • Working at correct scale, dimensions, DPI and bleed • Vector artwork • Upscaling/rebuilding lower-resolution artwork when necessary • Masking, compositing, photo manipulation and color correction • Designing around areas that will be covered, cut out, folded or trimmed • CMYK/color management for printed graphics Vehicle Wrap Experience Is Highly Preferred For vehicle projects, we may provide the exact year, make and model of a vehicle and need you to create artwork that can actually be printed and installed. You should understand concepts such as vehicle templates, panel dimensions, bleed, seams, scaling and keeping important artwork away from problematic areas. Guitar Wraps We also create custom printed graphics for guitars. These require more creativity than simply placing an image over a guitar. For example, important faces, logos, album artwork or text may need to be repositioned so they are not covered by the pickguard, pickups, bridge, knobs or other guitar hardware. We will provide dimensions/templates for all What We're Looking For We want someone who is: • Creative but able to follow detailed instructions • FAST and responsive • Comfortable making revisions • Able to maintain the original appearance of supplied artwork when requested • Detail-oriented with measurements and placement • Experienced preparing files that will actually be printed • Available for ongoing projects We own a 54-inch Roland TrueVIS large-format vinyl printer, so these designs will be produced in the real world.
