Graphic Designer (Vector / Adobe Illustrator) | Product Documentation & Localisation

We're looking for a detail-oriented graphic designer with strong Adobe Illustrator and vector skills to help us localise our assembly instructions and product specification sheets into eight new European languages. You'll take our existing English-language PDF documentation and rebuild each version with translated content, keeping the diagrams, callouts, dimensions, and layouts clean, accurate, and on-brand. This is initially a short-term contract focused on the assembly and spec sheet rollout. For the right person, there's genuine scope to extend into a full-time position as our European presence grows. Languages We're Localising Into We currently have all documentation in English and need it built out in: Danish (Dansk) Dutch (Nederlands) French (Français) German (Deutsch) Italian (Italiano) Polish (Polski) Spanish (Español) Swedish (Svenska) What You'll Be Doing Rebuild our English assembly guides and product spec PDFs with supplied translations Work with vector diagrams and technical illustrations in Illustrator, adjusting labels, callouts, and dimension markers as needed Maintain consistent layout, typography, and branding across every language version Handle text expansion and contraction across languages without breaking layouts Prepare clean, print-ready and digital-ready files What We're Looking For Strong Adobe Illustrator and vector design skills (essential) Experience with multi-page technical documentation, manuals, or spec sheets A sharp eye for detail, layout, and typography Comfortable managing large volumes of files and versions accurately Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote, async environment Nice to Have Fluency or working knowledge of any of the languages listed above. This is a real plus: as we scale into these markets we'll also need help localising EDMs (email campaigns) and other marketing and design assets, so language skills will keep you busy well beyond the initial documentation work.
