Graphic Designer for Local Fitness Brand — Print + Digital Marketing Collateral (Ongoing)

We're MADabolic Colorado Springs, a new strength-training studio opening this year (part of the national MADabolic franchise). That aesthetic is exactly what your work will need to live up to. We're in the middle of a local pre-sale push and need a sharp designer to help us produce a steady stream of high-quality, on-brand marketing materials for our market. This starts as one small paid test project. If it's a strong fit on both sides, it moves into ongoing work — we'd much rather find one reliable designer who learns our brand, gets faster over time, and becomes our go-to than re-hire for every piece. What you'll design: - Postcards and direct-mail pieces - Apartment community inserts and resident-targeted flyers - Promotional one-sheets highlighting founding-member offers and clear calls to action - Occasional digital assets from the same brand system (social graphics, ad creative, story templates) What we'll give you to work from: - A strict brand guidelines package (colors, fonts, logo usage, layout rules) — these are non-negotiable and must be followed precisely - A library of dozens of approved brand images to choose from - Most of the copy, already written and localized to Colorado Springs (We'll share the full brand guide, image library, and reference examples once we shortlist — for now, the website and Instagram give you everything you need to gauge fit.) What we need from you: - Expert-level layout and typography — clean hierarchy, confident use of white space, and design that makes a promo offer and CTA impossible to miss - The discipline to work inside tight brand guidelines rather than around them - Print production know-how: deliver true print-ready files (CMYK, correct bleed/trim/safe margins, 300 dpi) plus packaged, editable source files (Adobe Illustrator/InDesign or equivalent) that we own and can reuse - A direct-response sensibility — these pieces exist to drive sign-ups, not just to look good - Reliability and responsiveness; someone we can hand a brief and trust to deliver Nice to have: - Experience designing for fitness, gym, wellness, or boutique studio brands - Direct-mail or local/community marketing experience How we'll work: This role is ongoing hourly. We'll begin with one small paid fixed-fee test project (around $75-100 — likely an apartment insert or a founding-member postcard) so we can both see the fit. If it lands, we move to ongoing hourly work with a regular flow of briefs, growing more efficient as you learn the brand. Rate: We're portfolio-first and open to designers anywhere.
