Contract Graphic Designer – Apparel & Screen Printing (Part-Time / Remote) About Us Big T’s Custom Apparel is a fast-growing, veteran-owned screen printing and embroidery company based in Texas. We produce custom apparel for businesses, schools, nonprofits, events, and organizations. We’re looking for a dependable freelance graphic designer who understands production artwork—not just making designs look good, but making them print correctly. This is an ongoing contract position with consistent work for the right person. What You’ll Be Doing Create and modify customer artwork for screen printing, embroidery, and promotional products. Clean up low-quality logos and convert raster artwork to vector. Separate artwork for screen printing. Prepare mockups for customer approvals. Follow brand guidelines and customer specifications. Create production-ready files for our shop. Requirements Strong Adobe Illustrator experience (required). Experience designing specifically for screen printing or apparel decoration. Ability to vectorize artwork quickly and accurately. Understanding of spot colors, Pantone matching, trapping, and print production. Ability to communicate clearly and meet deadlines. Deliver production-ready files, including RIP-ready production files for direct import into our print workflow. Nice to Have Experience with embroidery digitizing workflows. Experience creating artwork for DTF or sublimation. Familiarity with screen printing color separations. Workload Approximately 5–15 hours per week to start. Flexible schedule.
