Graphic Novel & Narrative Illustrator – Detailed Interior Artwork for Headwear

Job Description Overview: We are seeking a talented Illustrator / Narrative Artist to create dynamic, high-detail illustrations for a premium, understated headwear line. The scope of this project is strictly focused on custom, story-driven interior artwork. The finalized illustrations will be printed via dye-sublimation onto the curved inside lining (crown) of our hats. Project Structure & Phased Workflow: We are looking to establish an ongoing relationship with the right artist. To ensure alignment on style and vision, this project will move in two clear phases: Phase 1 (Initial Paid Milestone / Proof of Concept): The selected artist will be hired to complete one (1) biblical story illustration from initial rough sketch to final, high-resolution artwork. Phase 2 (Collection Expansion): Upon approval of the first piece, the project will expand immediately to cover the remaining 3 to 4 designs for this collection, with potential for future seasonal releases. Artistic Style & Scope: Subject Matter: Epic, narrative biblical stories (e.g., Jesus calming the sea, Moses parting the Red Sea, pillar of fire). Art Style: Bold, graphic novel or comic book illustration style featuring dynamic action, strong focal points, and dramatic lighting. Format: Artwork must be composed thoughtfully so the visual balance translates smoothly when applied to a curved interior surface. Deliverables & Legal Terms: Layered, high-resolution source files (AI, PSD, or EPS) ready for high-definition dye-sublimation printing. 100% Work-for-Hire / Full IP Transfer: Complete ownership, full copyrights, and all source files for finalized illustrations will transfer entirely to us upon payment.
