Freelance Graphic Designer — Ongoing Marketing & Brand Support Industry: B2B Company Events/Hospitality Space Engagement type: Ongoing freelance Location: Remote (must have solid overlap with European working hours) About the role: We're a company events planning agency looking for a graphic designer to become a steady creative partner — not a one-off gig. The work splits across three buckets: 1. Ongoing marketing & sales support — recurring assets for campaigns, social, sales decks, and web 2. Brand refresh (near-term) with an eye toward a fuller identity revamp (longer-term) — we want a visual refresh in the coming weeks/months, with the person potentially carrying into a deeper rebrand later if it's a good fit. 3. Ad-hoc, fast-turnaround event assets — our event planners often need last-minute graphics when a venue or program detail changes (usually with some notice, but not always much) We'd like this to grow into a long-term relationship rather than a project-by-project handoff, so reliability and responsiveness matter as much as the portfolio. What you'll be working on: - Marketing & sales collateral: social graphics, email/newsletter visuals, sales one-pagers, presentation templates, ad creative - Brand refresh work: evolving our current visual identity (colors, type, imagery style, templates) — a refresh first, with room to grow into a full identity revamp if things click - Event-driven ad-hoc assets: quick-turn graphics tied to venue changes, itinerary updates, or last-minute client-facing materials requested by our event planning team — think signage, run-of-show visuals, updated one-pagers, etc. - Internal merch design: artwork for team swag/merch (apparel, drinkware, stationery, etc.) What we're looking for: - A human-led digital design sensibility — we're specifically looking for original designs "created by you", intentional design work rather than AI-generated or AI-assisted output. We want a designer who sketches, iterates, and makes deliberate creative choices, not one who leans on generative tools to produce concepts or final assets. - Comfort working across both polished brand/marketing work and scrappy, fast-turnaround requests — the pace varies a lot week to week and at times they are seasonal. - Ability to turn around urgent requests within a short window when needed (we'll always try to give notice, but event logistics don't always allow for it) - Strong grasp of brand consistency — able to work within (and help evolve) a visual system across many touchpoints Bonus: Experience designing for company events, hospitality, travel, or B2B services How we'll work together: - Async-first, with a weekly or biweekly sync depending on workload (optional) - Requests will come from a small team (marketing lead, content, and event planners) — clear briefs provided, but comfort asking clarifying questions is valued - Occasional true-urgent turnarounds (same-day/next-day) for event-related changes — these will be flagged clearly as priority To apply, please include: - A portfolio with examples of brand/identity work and fast-turnaround or campaign work - A short note on your design process (how you develop concepts — we want to understand your hands-on approach) - Your availability and typical turnaround time for quick-turn requests - Your hourly rate Feel free to ask questions before applying — we'd rather clarify scope upfront than have surprises later.
