Group Website Launch and Design
Worldwide
We are seeking a skilled freelancer to launch and design a group website. The ideal candidate will have experience in web development, WordPress, and graphic design. Responsibilities include creating a visually appealing design, ensuring smooth functionality, and optimizing for user experience. The project is part-time and expected to last 1 to 3 months. AeroXpert Visuals Group Website Visual Scope Briefing Master Briefing for Web Designer Tender 1. Project Overview AeroXpert Visuals Group is being developed as the central digital umbrella and routing platform for a group of aviation-focused companies, brands and expert services operating across accident investigation, aviation consultancy, forensic visualisation, safety communication and aviation media. The objective of this project is to create a coherent, premium and strategically aligned digital ecosystem under one shared corporate identity. The websites must not appear as isolated pages, but as connected specialist units within one professional aviation group. The central landing page will be hosted under: aeroexpert-visuals.group The brand name to be used visually and commercially is: AeroXpert Visuals Group The domain spelling and the brand spelling must both be respected. The domain is the technical address; the brand identity remains AeroXpert Visuals Group. 2. Strategic Purpose of the Group Landing Page The AeroXpert Visuals Group landing page is intended to act as the central entry point for all business units and specialist brands. It should not be designed as a traditional text-heavy corporate website. Instead, it should function as a high-impact visual gateway that immediately communicates the group’s core expertise and then guides visitors to the relevant specialised website. The landing page must communicate within seconds that AeroXpert Visuals Group stands for: Aviation Consultancy Accident Investigation Forensic Visualisation Safety Communication International Aviation Advisory Aviation Media and Podcast Production The user experience should be simple, premium and intuitive: visitors arrive on the group landing page, understand the scope of the group, and select the relevant logo or business unit to continue. 3. Visual Concept for the Landing Page The landing page should be built as a cinematic, premium one-page experience. The key visual concept is a full-screen background video or a sequence of short video clips. These clips should either be blended into one another or presented in a controlled sequence. The video content should represent the different business areas of the group. Suggested visual themes include: • aircraft and aviation operations • accident investigation environments • forensic reconstruction and 3D visualisation • cockpit, flight data and safety analysis visuals • international consultancy and aviation authority context • podcast and media production imagery • aviation safety communication and documentary-style visuals The look and feel should be: • premium • cinematic • clean • technically credible • aviation-focused • international • serious, but visually engaging • consistent with the existing AeroXpert Visuals corporate identity The design must avoid a generic agency look. It should feel like a specialised aviation safety, investigation and visualisation group. 4. Logo-Based Navigation Concept The main navigation should be built around the logos of the individual brands and domains. Each logo should act as a clear visual entry point into one specialist website. The visitor should be able to click on the relevant logo and move directly to the corresponding domain. The landing page should therefore function as a visual control centre for the entire group. The following business units and domains must be represented: 4.1 AeroXpert Consulting Target domain: www.aeroxpert.eu Role: Aviation consultancy, advisory, expert consulting and strategic aviation services. 4.2 AeroXpert Visuals GmbH Target domain: www.aeroxpert-visuals.eu Role: Vienna-based company for forensic visualisation, accident reconstruction, safety communication and aviation media production. 4.3 AeroXpert Visuals International L.L.C-FZ Target domain: www.aeroxpert-visuals.com Role: International head and UAE-based company for global aviation consultancy, visualisation and safety communication services. 4.4 AeroXpert Investigations / Luftfahrtexperte Target domain: www.luftfahrtexperte.eu Role: Personal expert and investigation branch of Dr. Thomas Friesacher, focused on air accident investigation, expert opinions and aviation safety expertise. 4.5 Mayday Files Europe / DACH Target domain: www.maydayfiles.eu Role: German-language aviation safety podcast and media platform for Austria, Germany, Switzerland and the wider European German-speaking market. 4.6 Mayday Files International Target domain: www.maydayfiles.com Role: Future English-language international version of the Mayday Files aviation safety podcast. 5. Overall Website Ecosystem The final digital ecosystem consists of the following web properties: 1. aeroexpert-visuals.group New central landing page and group routing platform. 2. www.aeroxpert.eu AeroXpert Consulting website. This requires a major redesign and new positioning. 3. www.aeroxpert-visuals.eu Existing Vienna-based AeroXpert Visuals GmbH website. The current layout should generally remain. No major redesign required. 4. www.aeroxpert-visuals.com Future international website for AeroXpert Visuals International L.L.C-FZ. This should be based on the existing aeroxpert-visuals.eu layout, but adapted into English and updated with the UAE company information. 5. www.luftfahrtexperte.eu Existing expert website of Dr. Thomas Friesacher. No major redesign required. The main task is to update the logo and align the branding with the AeroXpert Investigations identity. 6. www.maydayfiles.eu Future German / DACH / European version of Mayday Files. Existing German content from maydayfiles.com should be transferred to maydayfiles.eu. 7. www.maydayfiles.com Future English-language international version of Mayday Files. The current German content should be removed after migration to maydayfiles.eu. The English version will be developed later as a separate content package. 6. Design System and Template Direction All websites should follow one coherent corporate identity and visual design system. The existing design direction is based on the premium one-page structure of the The7 one-page template. This template logic should be used as the design foundation where appropriate. The design system should include: • consistent typography • consistent colour scheme • consistent logo placement • consistent navigation logic • consistent button and call-to-action styling • consistent footer structure • consistent legal and contact presentation • consistent visual treatment of aviation imagery • consistent premium cinematic brand atmosphere The purpose is not to create identical websites, but a family of websites that clearly belong to the same group. Each website may have its own emphasis, but the group identity must remain visible across all properties. 7. Scope Split: New Build, Redesign, Migration and Minor Update The project should be structured into different implementation categories. 7.1 Full New Build aeroexpert-visuals.group This is the central new landing page and requires a full concept and build. Key requirements: • full-screen premium video background • logo-based navigation • clear group identity • minimal but strong text • routing to all group websites • mobile-optimised execution • fast loading despite video use • SEO-relevant basic structure • premium aviation visual atmosphere 7.2 Major Redesign www.aeroxpert.eu This website should be redesigned as the AeroXpert Consulting website. Detailed instructions will be provided in a separate briefing. 7.3 International Rollout and Adaptation www.aeroxpert-visuals.com This website should be based on the existing structure and layout of www.aeroxpert-visuals.eu. The task is to: • transfer the design logic • remove German content • create an English international version • update company information to AeroXpert Visuals International L.L.C-FZ • insert UAE address and legal details • position the website as the international operational and holding/mother company presence • retain the established premium AeroXpert Visuals design language Detailed content adaptation will be provided in a separate briefing. 7.4 Existing Website with Minor Branding Update www.luftfahrtexperte.eu This website remains largely unchanged. The main task is: • replace or update the logo • integrate the new AeroXpert Investigations visual identity • ensure the branding fits into the group ecosystem No complete redesign is required. 7.5 Existing Website to Remain Mostly Unchanged www.aeroxpert-visuals.eu This website already uses the desired layout direction and should remain largely unchanged. It will continue to represent the Vienna-based GmbH. Only minor consistency updates may be required later. 7.6 Content Migration www.maydayfiles.com → www.maydayfiles.eu The current German-language Mayday Files content should be moved from maydayfiles.com to maydayfiles.eu. The future logic is: • maydayfiles.eu = German / DACH / European podcast platform • maydayfiles.com = English / international podcast platform 7.7 Future English Content Build www.maydayfiles.com After migration of the German content, maydayfiles.com will later be used for the English-language international Mayday Files podcast. This is not the main priority in the first implementation round. 8. Required Designer Capabilities The selected web designer should be able to deliver both visual design and structured implementation. Required capabilities include: • WordPress implementation • experience with premium one-page layouts • ability to work with The7 or comparable WordPress theme structures • strong sense for cinematic visual design • experience with video backgrounds and performance optimisation • ability to build responsive layouts for desktop, tablet and mobile • ability to implement clear routing structures • SEO-aware page architecture • multilingual website understanding • ability to work with existing content and migrate/adapt it cleanly • ability to maintain a consistent corporate identity across several domains This is not only a design job. It is also a brand architecture, migration and digital ecosystem project. 9. Content and Asset Handling The web designer will receive separate detailed instructions for each website. Those separate instructions will define: • which texts should be transferred • which texts should be removed • which texts must be rewritten • which logos should be used • which legal information must be updated • which domains should link to which destinations • which pages require full redesign • which pages require only minor changes The master briefing defines the overall structure only. It is not yet the final content specification for each domain. The following assets will be required: • final logos for each brand and business unit • existing website access • video material for the group landing page • brand colour references • existing AeroXpert Visuals CI elements • company legal information for Austria and UAE • podcast branding material for Mayday Files • current content from existing websites • contact and imprint details for each legal entity 10. User Journey and Routing Logic The core user journey should be simple: 1. The visitor lands on aeroexpert-visuals.group. 2. The visitor sees the AeroXpert Visuals Group brand and the cinematic aviation background. 3. The visitor understands the group’s service universe. 4. The visitor selects the relevant logo or business area. 5. The visitor is routed to the correct specialised website. The landing page should not compete with the sub-websites. It should act as an elegant gateway. The purpose is orientation, credibility and routing. 11. Tone of Voice The language should be professional, international and aviation-specific. The tone should be: • authoritative • precise • premium • technically competent • clear • trustworthy • internationally credible The wording should avoid generic marketing language. The group works in aviation safety, accident investigation and expert communication. The language must reflect this professional context. Suggested core positioning sentence: AeroXpert Visuals Group connects aviation consultancy, accident investigation expertise, forensic visualisation and safety communication into one international specialist platform. Alternative shorter version: Aviation expertise, forensic visualisation and safety communication under one international group. 12. Preliminary Landing Page Structure The central landing page may be structured as follows: Hero Section • full-screen video background • AeroXpert Visuals Group logo • short positioning sentence • logo-based navigation to all group websites Group Overview Section Short explanation of the group structure and its core fields: • consulting • investigation • visualisation • international operations • media and podcast Business Unit Selection Section Clickable brand/logo tiles with short descriptions and links to each domain. Trust / Expertise Section Brief positioning of the group’s aviation expertise, including accident investigation, aviation consultancy and safety communication. Contact / Footer Section Central group contact area with links to individual websites. Footer should include: • group name • relevant legal disclaimer • links to business units • privacy policy • imprint / legal notice • contact information 13. Key Implementation Principles The implementation should follow these principles: • keep the group landing page visually strong and text-light • use logos as the primary navigation tool • keep performance high despite video integration • maintain a premium aviation look • avoid visual clutter • ensure mobile usability • ensure clear routing to each domain • maintain consistent CI across all websites • protect existing working websites from unnecessary redesign • separate strategic redesign tasks from simple migration/update tasks 14. Deliverables Expected from the Web Designer The web designer should provide: 1. Visual concept for the AeroXpert Visuals Group landing page 2. Implementation of aeroexpert-visuals.group 3. Logo-based navigation and routing setup 4. Responsive desktop, tablet and mobile design 5. Video background implementation with performance optimisation 6. Redesign proposal and implementation for www.aeroxpert.eu 7. International adaptation of www.aeroxpert-visuals.com 8. Migration support for Mayday Files German content from .com to .eu 9. Logo and branding update for www.luftfahrtexperte.eu 10. Consistency review across all domains 11. Basic SEO and technical structure 12. Final handover with editable WordPress structure 15. Project Management Approach The project will be managed in separate briefing packages. This master document defines the umbrella architecture. Each website will receive a separate detailed instruction document. Planned follow-up briefings: 1. AeroXpert Visuals Group landing page 2. AeroXpert Consulting / www.aeroxpert.eu 3. AeroXpert Visuals GmbH / www.aeroxpert-visuals.eu 4. AeroXpert Visuals International / www.aeroxpert-visuals.com 5. AeroXpert Investigations / www.luftfahrtexperte.eu 6. Mayday Files Europe / www.maydayfiles.eu 7. Mayday Files International / www.maydayfiles.com The web designer should expect a structured rollout rather than one uncoordinated website redesign. 16. Strategic Target Outcome The final outcome should be a coherent, scalable and internationally credible digital presence for AeroXpert Visuals Group. The group landing page should create the visual and strategic umbrella. The individual websites should remain specialised, focused and easy to understand. The entire system should communicate that AeroXpert Visuals Group is a high-level aviation specialist group combining operational expertise, investigation experience, forensic visualisation and aviation safety communication. The target result is a premium digital ecosystem for a highly specialised aviation brand.
