Growth Marketing Manager & Reservations Support Remote Contractor | Full-Time Opportunity Naples Florida Vacation Homes is a family-owned vacation rental management company based in Naples, Florida. We manage a curated portfolio of vacation homes and are known for responsive, personal guest service. Our guests communicate with real people, not bots or automated messaging. We are looking for a highly capable, detail-oriented Growth Marketing Manager to take ownership of our digital marketing efforts and help us increase direct bookings. This is initially a contract role through Upwork, with the goal of developing into a long-term, full-time position for the right person. This is not a basic social-media assistant role. We need someone who understands how to connect marketing activity to inquiries, bookings, revenue, and measurable growth. What You Will Own Email Marketing - Plan, write, design, schedule, and analyze email campaigns for past guests and prospective guests. - Help organize and improve audience segmentation. - Build and improve automated email flows, including inquiry follow-up, abandoned booking/quote follow-up, pre-arrival, post-stay, repeat guest, and seasonal campaigns. - Create newsletters that feature properties, local Naples recommendations, events, restaurants, activities, and valuable travel content—not just promotions. - Track open rates, click-through rates, conversions, revenue, and list health. Paid Advertising & Lead Generation - Manage, optimize, and report on Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns. - Monitor campaign performance, budgets, lead quality, cost per inquiry, and booking results. - Make clear recommendations about what is working, what is not working, and what should be tested next. - Help create ad copy, landing-page recommendations, offers, audiences, and creative briefs. - Work toward increasing qualified direct-booking inquiries and reducing dependence on third-party booking platforms. SEO & Website Growth - Help create and prioritize a practical SEO plan. - Conduct keyword and competitor research relevant to Naples vacation rentals, local travel, and direct bookings. - Prepare content briefs for blogs, landing pages, property pages, and local-area guides. - Monitor Google Search Console, Google Analytics, rankings, traffic, technical issues, and opportunities. - Coordinate with our website team or outside vendors when technical changes are needed. Reporting & Organization - Prepare a simple weekly marketing report covering campaign activity, inquiry volume, direct-booking performance, advertising spend, email performance, SEO progress, and recommended next steps. - Maintain an organized marketing calendar and campaign tracker. - Keep digital assets, content ideas, campaign files, and passwords/access information organized and documented. - Take initiative when you identify gaps, missed opportunities, or campaigns that need improvement. Reservations Phone Coverage Three days per week, you will also help cover our reservations phones during the following U.S. Eastern Time shift: 6:00 p.m.–3:00 a.m. Eastern Time This is generally a daytime shift in the Asia/Oceania timezones: - Approximately 6:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Philippine Time during U.S. daylight saving time - Approximately 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Philippine Time during U.S. standard time During these shifts, you will: - Answer guest and prospective guest calls professionally and warmly. - Assist with basic reservation questions, availability inquiries, and quote requests. - Document all calls and follow-up needs clearly. - Escalate maintenance, urgent guest, owner, or operational issues according to company procedures. - Ensure no inquiry or guest concern is lost because it came in after traditional U.S. business hours. You will receive training on our properties, systems, guest-service standards, and escalation procedures. This phone coverage is important, but the core long-term focus of this role is growth marketing and direct-booking performance. The reservation coverage is overnight for Naples so there are very few calls and messages. You should be able to complete your main responsibilities during this time. What We Are Looking For - Based in the Philippines and able to work reliably from a professional home-office environment. - Excellent written and spoken English, with clear, warm, professional communication suitable for U.S. guests and customers. - Proven hands-on experience managing Google Ads and Meta Ads—not only creating posts or boosting content. - Experience with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact or other. - Comfort using Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Canva, spreadsheets, and Google Workspace tools. - Working knowledge of SEO, keyword research, website content strategy, and conversion-focused marketing. - Strong analytical skills and ability to explain marketing results in plain English. - Highly organized, proactive, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership without needing constant direction. - Comfortable answering phones and communicating with guests in a hospitality-focused environment. - Experience in vacation rentals, hotels, travel, real estate, hospitality, or e-commerce is strongly preferred. - Experience working for a U.S.-based company is a plus. This Role Is a Strong Fit for Someone Who - Enjoys both creative marketing work and performance analysis. - Understands that marketing should lead to measurable business results, not just attractive social posts. - Can independently manage a campaign calendar while still communicating clearly with leadership. - Is comfortable shifting between email strategy, ad optimization, reporting, guest communication, and problem-solving. - Wants a stable, long-term role with a growing company rather than short, disconnected freelance projects. Contract Structure We plan to begin with a paid trial period through Upwork. During the trial, we will evaluate communication, reliability, technical ability, initiative, reporting quality, phone performance, and early marketing execution. The right person will have the opportunity to transition into a long-term, full-time contractor role with increasing responsibility, stability, and performance-based growth.
