Welcome to So Diva! – a free monthly digital magazine dedicated to celebrating, analyzing, and respecting "girly media" across film, TV, gaming, toys, and literature. We also go out of our way to highlight independent creators making girly media. For too long, girly media has been dismissed as "low quality" or superficial. We are here to change that narrative. We have a gorgeous, fully designed magazine and a passionate volunteer team. Our branding is locked in. Now, we need the ultimate hype-person to get us the exposure we deserve. Our goal is to build a massive digital fanbase so we can eventually transition into selling beautiful physical print copies. YOUR MISSION: Your sole metric of success is getting So Diva in front of our ideal audience. You will be building the engine that gets us seen by girly-media stans, indie creators, and pop-culture lovers. WHAT YOU'LL DO: • Creator & Influencer Outreach: Find and pitch TikTokers, YouTubers, and Instagram creators who talk about girly pop culture, toy collecting (Bratz, Barbie, Monster High), cozy gaming, or related topics and aesthetics. • Grassroots Community Networking: Insert So Diva into the digital hubs where our audience lives—cozy gaming Discord servers, pop-culture Subreddits, and Letterboxd communities. • Indie Creator Partnerships: Reach out to the indie creators we feature to help them cross-promote their features to their own audiences. • Ko-fi Crowdfunding Strategy: We have a goal to raise $30k via Ko-fi to fund our first physical print run. You will help brainstorm and execute creative outreach campaigns that drive our digital fanbase to support the Ko-fi (e.g., pitching exclusive digital perks, tier rewards, or community shoutouts). WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: • A genuine love for girly media and pop culture. If you don't "get" the vision, this isn't the role for you. • A "shameless advocate" mindset—someone who loves pitching, networking, and turning a cold email into a passionate partnership. • Knowledge of internet culture, fandom spaces, and aesthetics (Cozy Gaming, Y2K, BimboCore, Pink Aesthetic, etc.). COMPENSATION STRUCTURE (Milestone-Based): Because we are a growing non-profit indie team, we align our budget directly with real-world results. We pay a flat rate of $100 per milestone achieved. As you hit a goal, we unlock the next $100 milestone. • Milestone 1: Reaching 2,000 Instagram/TikTok followers. • Milestone 2: Securing 5 organic shares or shoutouts from creators with 20k+ followers on Instagram/TikTok or 50k+ followers on YouTube in the Girly Niche driving traffic to our Ko-fi and magazine. • Milestone 3: Helping us hit 5% of our 30,000$ goal on Ko-fi. • Milestone 4: Next growth metric, and so on!
