We are a fast growing lighting brand selling lamps through multiple e-commerce websites in different international markets. Due to strong growth in daily order volume, we are looking for an experienced sourcing agent based in Guangdong, China, to support our daily operations on a long term basis. This is an ongoing operational role, not a one-time sourcing project. At this stage, we do not purchase in bulk. We source and order products based on individual customer orders. This means you must be able to work quickly, communicate with factories daily, and manage a high number of orders with accuracy. Key Responsibilities - Source and order 200+ lighting products per day from 1688.com, factories, and reliable suppliers - Contact factories directly to confirm product availability, pricing, specifications, lead times, and quality - Communicate directly with lamp factories in Chinese on our behalf - Compare suppliers based on price, product quality, delivery speed, reliability, and defect risk - Place daily orders based on our customer orders Track supplier responses, order status, delays, and product issues - Proactively suggest better suppliers, better pricing, and higher-quality alternatives - Help build a stronger supplier network for our lighting brand over time Required Experience - Must be based in Guangdong, China - Strong existing network with lamp factories, lighting suppliers, or home decor manufacturers - Experience sourcing lamps, lighting products, or similar home products - Proven ability to manage high daily order volume - Experience sourcing products on 1688.com and communicating directly with Chinese factories - Fluent Chinese, spoken and written - Good English communication skills, spoken and written - Highly organized, accurate, fast, and reliable - Able to work daily and respond quickly during China business hours Important: This Role Requires Real Factory Sourcing Our sourcing process is done through 1688.com and by contacting factories directly. We need someone who can search efficiently on 1688.com, identify reliable suppliers, communicate directly with factories and suppliers, verify product quality, confirm availability, negotiate pricing, and manage daily purchasing. We are not looking for someone who only forwards links without verifying the supplier, product quality, availability, and pricing.
