Job Title: HOA Accounting Specialist – Chart of Accounts & Fund Setup (eUnify / Vantaca)## Job Description We are a California-based HOA management company seeking an experienced HOA Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist to onboard a small, newly acquired association. The previous management company provided the historic General Ledger (GL) accounts, codes, and historical financial data. We need a specialized professional to enter, map, and structure this data correctly within our management software. Key Responsibilities * Software Onboarding: Build out the Chart of Accounts and input historic GL data. * Fund Accounting Setup: Establish separate tracking for Operating and Reserve accounts. * Data Verification: Ensure opening balances align with historical records. Required Experience * eUnify or Vantaca: Direct, hands-on experience using eUnify is a major plus, but Vantaca experience is also highly acceptable. * HOA Accounting Standards: Deep understanding of fund accounting, assessments, and reserve fund allocations. * California Compliance: Familiarity with California HOA financial regulations (e.g., rigid segregation of Operating and Reserve funds) is preferred. * Project Type: Short-term onboarding project with a strong opportunity to transition into ongoing monthly bookkeeping support.
