HVAC Designer is Required to Support Ducting Design

Mechanical Engineer (HVAC Design) for Laboratory We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong HVAC design expertise to support a laboratory fit-out project of approximately **1,000 m². Scope of Work * Review the project requirements, architectural layouts, and laboratory equipment schedule. * Review the HAP calculations and system coordination. * Develop and finalize the air ductwork design and layout (supply, return, exhaust, and fresh air systems as applicable). * Coordinate HVAC requirements with laboratory-specific systems and equipment. * Prepare HVAC drawings, duct sizing calculations, and airflow distribution layouts. * Support the preparation and finalization of the complete HVAC package for construction and tender purposes. * Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure clash-free design and compliance with project requirements. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. * Proven experience in HVAC design for laboratories, healthcare facilities, pharmaceutical facilities, cleanrooms, or similar specialized environments. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and HVAC design software. * Strong understanding of laboratory ventilation requirements, pressurization concepts, and exhaust systems. * Ability to deliver calculations, drawings, and design documentation within the agreed schedule. Deliverables * HVAC design. * Detailed ductwork layouts and sizing. * Airflow and ventilation schedules. * HVAC coordination drawings. * Final HVAC design package ready for construction/tender submission.
