Summary

About: OncologyMedicalPhysics.com (OMP) is an established education platform serving medical physicists, trainees, graduate programs, and radiation oncology organizations. We are preparing two near-term growth initiatives: 1. Expanding institutional sales of our existing educational memberships. 2. Launching a specialized career-services platform for medical physics employers and job seekers. We are looking for a senior, hands-on B2B go-to-market strategist for an initial 90-day engagement. This role combines product marketing, targeted outbound, launch planning, and founder-led sales support. We do not need a high-level marketing plan, general social-media management, or someone who only advises others. We need an experienced operator who can determine what matters most, build practical campaigns, and drive execution alongside our existing team. Immediate priorities 1. Institutional membership campaign Our first priority is selling educational memberships to graduate medical physics programs during their fall purchasing cycle. This is a small, identifiable market rather than a broad advertising problem. You will help: • Refine the institutional offer, positioning, and campaign messaging • Develop or improve the program and decision-maker contact list • Build a coordinated email, direct-mail, landing-page, and follow-up campaign • Create the supporting sales materials and outreach process • Identify where founder involvement will improve response or conversion • Track outreach, conversations, opportunities, sales, and revenue • Improve the offer and campaign based on market response The initial campaign needs to begin in late August and continue through September. 2. Career-services launch OMP is developing a specialized career-services platform expected to launch in approximately two months. The initial offering will connect medical physics employers with a focused professional audience. You will help: • Interview prospective employers to validate positioning, pricing, and purchasing behavior • Define the initial employer offer • Build and prioritize an employer prospect list • Recruit founding employers and job postings before launch • Develop employer-facing messaging and sales materials • Create the pre-launch and launch campaign • Establish a practical outreach, follow-up, and pipeline-management process • Help ensure the platform launches with real job inventory rather than an empty marketplace What you will own You will be expected to: • Translate business objectives into prioritized, executable campaigns • Conduct focused customer and market research • Develop offers, positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans • Personally create core campaign materials or direct their production • Build practical outbound and follow-up systems • Coordinate work across the founder, virtual assistant, developer, and social-media firm • Delegate production work appropriately instead of performing every task personally • Measure progress through qualified conversations, pipeline, customers, and revenue The founder will remain involved in strategic decisions, industry-specific messaging, and customer conversations where subject-matter credibility is valuable. Existing resources You will not be starting from zero. OMP has: • An established brand and specialized professional audience • Existing educational products and paying institutional customers • A virtual assistant • A website developer • A social-media firm • Founder-led subject-matter expertise and industry relationships • Career-services pages currently in development Clinical consulting is also planned through an experienced delivery partner, but it is not part of the immediate scope. It may become an additional work stream if the initial engagement is successful and the service becomes commercially ready. Ideal candidate You may be a strong fit if you have: • Demonstrated experience launching or growing niche B2B products or services • Experience with account-based marketing, targeted outbound, or founder-led sales • Strong product-marketing skills, including positioning, customer interviews, offer development, and launch planning • The ability to move between strategic judgment and hands-on execution • Experience coordinating contractors or small distributed teams • A commercial orientation focused on customers and revenue rather than marketing activity alone • Excellent written communication and project-management skills Experience in healthcare, professional education, recruiting, job boards, marketplaces, or specialized professional services would be useful, but medical physics experience is not required. This is probably not the right engagement if your work primarily consists of social-media management, broad consumer advertising, SEO, content calendars, or producing strategy documents for someone else to execute. Engagement structure • Initial term: approximately 90 days • Contract type: hourly • Initial commitment: up to 8–10 hours per week during campaign development and launch • Expected ongoing commitment during the initial term: approximately 5–8 hours per week • Posted rate range: $75–$125 per hour, depending on experience • Preferred start: within the next two weeks • Strong potential for ongoing work if the initial engagement is successful What success looks like During the initial engagement, success would include: • A complete institutional-membership campaign launched on schedule • Qualified institutional conversations, sales opportunities, and measurable campaign results • Employer interviews and validated career-services positioning • A prioritized employer pipeline • Initial employers or job postings committed before launch • A launch-ready career-services campaign • Clear tracking and repeatable outreach and follow-up processes We will evaluate the engagement based on disciplined execution, commercially meaningful activity, rapid learning, and progress toward customers—not traffic, impressions, followers, revenue, or the volume of marketing content produced. Generic agency proposals or capabilities decks are unlikely to be considered.
