3D Hard Surface Artist – Photoreal Bidet Product Models from STEP Files for Shopify Web Animation

PRZRVE is a Canadian eco-focused consumer brand. We are building a scroll-driven 3D animated landing page for our Shopify storefront (rinsego.ca) where the 3D model of our flagship product — the RinseGo portable bidet sprayer — zooms in as the user scrolls to highlight key product features and engineering details. We need a skilled 3D product artist to take our existing STEP files and produce hero-quality, web-optimized 3D models ready for real-time browser rendering. What We're Modeling Two products from the RinseGo line: 1. RinseGo Lite — single-nozzle portable bidet sprayer. Compact, lightweight. Approximately 2. RinseGo Duo — dual-nozzle portable bidet sprayer (focused stream + wide spray). Slightly larger. Both units are 3D-printed plastic. STEP files will be provided for both. Reference photos of the physical products will also be supplied for material and color accuracy. Each model requires three color variants: Forest Green Ocean Blue Safety Orange Color variants are identical in geometry — material/color swaps only, not separate builds. Deliverables Two fully modeled, textured, and web-optimized 3D models (Lite + Duo) PBR materials applied — matte printed plastic finish, fine nozzle detail, accurate surface feel Three color variants per model as separate material sets Final export in glTF/GLB format, optimized for real-time browser rendering (poly count and texture compression considered) Turntable render of each model for review/approval before final export Source files included on project completion Skills Required Hard surface modeling — consumer products specifically (not characters, not environments) PBR texturing and photoreal materials Experience delivering web-optimized 3D models (glTF/GLB, real-time rendering constraints, poly count discipline) Ability to work from STEP/CAD files — retopologize and optimize for web rather than print or film-quality rendering Bonus: experience with Three.js, Spline, or any Shopify 3D/WebGL integration What We're NOT Looking For Generalist 3D animators without hard surface product modeling experience Artists whose portfolio is limited to characters, environments, or architectural visualization High-poly film/VFX artists who have not delivered real-time web-optimized assets before To Apply Please include the following in your proposal: Portfolio examples of hard surface product models — consumer goods, electronics, small gadgets preferred. Please include wireframe screenshots alongside final renders so we can assess topology quality. Confirmation that you have experience delivering glTF/GLB assets optimized for web/real-time rendering. Estimated timeline to complete both models with all color variants.
