Hardware Design Engineer Needed for Wearable IoT Device (Schematic + PCB) I am developing a battery-powered wearable IoT health monitoring device for dogs and am looking for an experienced hardware engineer to design the complete electronics from concept to production-ready hardware. Product Overview The device will collect motion and temperature data and transmit it to the cloud using an LTE cellular connection. The design must be compact, low power, and suitable for a collar-mounted wearable. Main Components MCU: STM32G030 (or recommend a suitable low-power MCU) Cellular Module: SIMCom A7670 (LTE) Motion Sensor: MPU6050 Temperature Sensor: DS18B20 Li-Po Battery Battery charging and power management Nano SIM card interface LTE antenna Scope of Work Review system requirements Design complete schematic Select and optimize components Design battery charging and power management Integrate STM32 MCU, A7670 LTE module, sensors, and SIM interface Design a compact 4-layer PCB suitable for a wearable device RF layout following SIMCom guidelines Optimize power integrity for LTE current peaks (up to 2A) DFM (Design for Manufacturing) review Deliverables Complete schematic (KiCad or Altium) PCB layout files Gerber files BOM with manufacturer part numbers Pick & Place files Assembly drawings Manufacturing documentation Support during prototype bring-up if required Preferred Experience SIMCom, Quectel, or u-blox LTE modules Battery-powered IoT devices RF PCB layout Wearable electronics Production-ready hardware development Please share similar LTE or wearable hardware projects you have completed and mention the EDA software you use.
