The system bridges physical pen-and-paper actions and real-time voice navigation with modern cloud APIs using a pocket-sized 4G hardware gateway. The platform consists of three integrated pillars: The Binny Smart Keychain: A cellular/Bluetooth hardware gateway and live location tracker. The Digitizer Pen: A white-labeled smartpen tracking analog handwriting. The Cloud Architecture: A Next.js server orchestrating Voice AI (Vapi), Messaging (Telnyx), and document workflows. Part 1: The Binny 4G Smart Keychain (Hardware Gateway) ๐น Product Description The Binny Keychain is a sleek, pocketable, or wearable consumer key fob. It serves a dual purpose: it acts as a Live GPS/GNSS Asset Tracker for real-time location services (such as our screen-free voice navigation feature) and functions as a Transparent Bluetooth-to-Cellular Gateway. It intercepts real-time vector handwriting data emitted by the smartpen and immediately pipes it up to our cloud servers over modern, low-power 4G networks. ๐น Technical & Hardware Requirements Cellular Connectivity (The Network): * Specification: Multi-band LTE Cat. M1 (LTE-M) and NB-IoT (Narrowband IoT). Reasoning: Avoid standard 2G/3G modules, as these legacy networks are actively being sunset globally (including the US and Israel). LTE-M offers deep signal penetration inside buildings, exceptionally low battery draw, and optimal bandwidth for streaming text/vector data. SIM Architecture: Must support eSIM (for digital factory flashing during mass production). Bluetooth Connectivity (The Bridge): Specification: Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 5.0 or higher. It treats the Binny Keychain as its primary host. The moment the user touches the pen to a printed paper template, the pen automatically wakes up, connects to the keychain via BLE, and streams the coordinate paths live. Spatial Feature Mapping (The "Action" Trigger): Binny uses pre-generated, hardcoded dot-matrix paper templates. In our software database, we map exact geometric bounding boxes on the page to cloud triggers. Example: If the pen detects a PEN_DOWN event at specific coordinate coordinates where we visually printed a [ ] Send SMS box, our Next.js backend immediately isolates the handwriting on that sheet, routes it through our OCR pipeline, and triggers the Telnyx API to send a text.
