Head of Acquisitions & Fulfilment Films for Change (filmsforchange.stream) Location: Remote About Films for Change Films for Change is a social impact documentary streaming platform, home to 500+ films and series that spark conversation and drive positive change. We're growing our catalogue and our community, and we're looking for someone to lead how content comes onto the platform and how it reaches audiences once it's there. The Role We're looking for a Head of Acquisitions & Fulfilment to own the full pipeline — from sourcing and signing new films and series, through to getting them live on the platform and in front of the right audience. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves documentary storytelling, is comfortable negotiating deals, and enjoys direct communication with filmmakers, subscribers, and leads. Key Responsibilities Acquisitions Source and evaluate new films, documentary series, and video content aligned with our social-impact focus Build and maintain relationships with filmmakers, distributors, and production companies Negotiate licensing deals and content agreements Track acquisition pipeline and maintain a rolling slate of upcoming content Fulfilment & Distribution Upload, encode, and publish acquired content to the platform (Uscreen) Ensure metadata, artwork, trailers, and categorisation meet platform standards Manage release scheduling and coordinate launch timing with marketing Post and communicate new film/series releases and content updates across social media channels Troubleshoot content/technical issues affecting playback or availability Customer & Lead Communication Respond to subscriber inquiries related to content and licensing Liaise with filmmaker leads and submissions, guiding them through the acquisition process Represent Films for Change professionally in all external communications What We're Looking For Experience in content acquisition, licensing, or distribution (film/TV/streaming industry preferred) Strong negotiation skills and commercial instincts Comfortable with digital platforms and content management systems (Uscreen experience a plus) Excellent written and verbal communication Self-directed, able to own a pipeline end-to-end with minimal oversight Genuine interest in documentary film and social impact content Nice to Have Existing relationships with documentary filmmakers or distributors Experience with OTT/streaming platform operations Background in customer support or community management
