Head of Organic Growth (SEO, Content & AI)

**Upwork Job Title:** SEO & Organic Growth Specialist We are looking for an experienced SEO and Organic Growth Specialist to help build a long-term organic traffic engine for our rapidly growing digital media company. Our team already generates millions of impressions across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Reddit, and other social platforms. We want to leverage that reach while building a sustainable stream of high-quality traffic through Google Search, SEO, blogs, and evergreen content. ### Responsibilities * Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy. * Perform keyword research to identify high-value content opportunities. * Build topical authority through strategic content planning. * Create and manage blog and landing page content calendars. * Write or oversee AI-assisted content creation while maintaining high editorial standards. * Optimize existing content for search rankings and user engagement. * Implement on-page SEO best practices and improve site architecture. * Develop ethical link-building and digital PR strategies. * Monitor rankings, traffic, and conversions using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar tools. * Collaborate with our social media team to repurpose content and maximize organic reach across multiple channels. * Continuously identify new opportunities to increase organic visibility and qualified traffic. ### Requirements * Proven experience growing websites through SEO and content marketing. * Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page SEO, and content strategy. * Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms. * Familiarity with AI-assisted content workflows is a plus. * Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. * Excellent written English. * Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects. ### Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who has successfully built organic traffic from the ground up—not someone who only understands SEO in theory.
