Summary

We are looking for a full-time Head of HR / Recruiter to build and manage the hiring engine for a fast-growing 8-figure ecommerce brand. This role is a mix of recruiting, headhunting, hiring operations, HR administration, onboarding, and team-structure planning. We are scaling quickly and need someone who can help us find strong talent, build consistent hiring pipelines, shortlist candidates, coordinate interviews, handle contracts/onboarding/payroll details, and help turn rough hiring ideas into clean role descriptions, workflows, and hiring processes. This is not a passive HR role. We need someone proactive, organized, fast-moving, and extremely good at sourcing talent. Main Responsibilities You will be responsible for owning the hiring and HR operations process across the company. This includes: Building and managing hiring pipelines for current and future roles. Poaching and sourcing strong candidates directly, especially through LinkedIn. Creating and improving job posts, role descriptions, scorecards, interview questions, and hiring workflows. Taking rough hiring “skeletons” from leadership and turning them into clear roles with responsibilities, must-haves, compensation structure, and interview process. Shortlisting candidates and presenting the best options to leadership. Coordinating interviews between candidates and internal team members. Running first-round screening calls. Fully managing interviews for smaller or more consistent roles such as customer support reps, video editors, graphic designers, and other execution roles. Keeping open pipelines for rolling roles we are always hiring for, such as creative team members, editors, designers, CS reps, and operators. Helping source higher-level roles such as CRO, retention, media buying, creative strategy, operations, finance, and leadership hires. Managing candidate follow-ups, interview scheduling, rejection messages, offers, and onboarding communication. Setting up contracts, NDAs, offer letters, and contractor agreements. Collecting payroll details from new hires and coordinating payroll setup. Managing onboarding for new team members so they know their role, tools, workflows, reporting structure, expectations, and first tasks. Helping organize employee records, contracts, compensation details, and role documentation. Helping coordinate the monthly all-staff meeting, including agenda preparation, reminders, attendance, and follow-up notes. Working with leadership to define how teams should be structured, who reports to who, and how departments should work together. Continuously improving our hiring process so we can move faster without lowering talent quality. What You’ll Be Hiring For You should be comfortable helping us hire across roles such as: Customer support reps Video editors Graphic designers Creative strategists Media buyers CRO operators Retention managers Email/SMS team members Operations roles Department leads Specialist ecommerce operators Some roles will be lower-level and repeatable. You should be able to manage those mostly yourself. For higher-leverage roles, you will source, screen, shortlist, coordinate, and help leadership make the final decision. Must-Have Skills You must have: Strong experience recruiting for ecommerce, agency, creative, performance marketing, or high-growth online businesses. Expert-level ability to source and poach candidates directly. Strong LinkedIn sourcing and outreach skills. Ability to build hiring pipelines from scratch. Ability to write clear job descriptions and role requirements. Strong understanding of how to assess candidates beyond surface-level resumes. Strong organization and follow-up. Ability to manage multiple roles at once without losing track of candidates. Strong communication skills with both candidates and internal team members. Ability to work full-time and move quickly. Ability to create systems, SOPs, workflows, and hiring documentation. Comfort working with contractors, remote workers, international hires, and fast-moving teams. Strong attention to detail around contracts, NDAs, payroll details, onboarding, and internal records. Nice to Have Experience hiring for 7–8 figure ecommerce brands. Experience hiring creative strategists, editors, designers, media buyers, CRO, retention, or ecommerce operators. Experience working inside a performance marketing agency, creative agency, or DTC brand. Experience with ClickUp, Notion, Google Sheets, Slack, Loom, Gusto, Deel, Remote, or similar tools. Existing network of ecommerce, creative, media buying, CRO, and operations talent. Experience creating onboarding systems and team operating structures. What Success Looks Like You will be successful in this role if: We have a consistent pipeline of strong candidates for key roles. Leadership is no longer spending hours manually sourcing and coordinating candidates. Smaller roles like CS reps, editors, and designers can be hired consistently without bottlenecking the founders. High-level candidates are properly sourced, screened, and shortlisted. Every role has a clear job description, scorecard, interview process, and hiring workflow. New hires are onboarded smoothly and understand exactly what they are responsible for. Contracts, NDAs, payroll details, and internal HR records are organized. The company has a cleaner structure for teams, reporting lines, and workflows. Hiring becomes a repeatable system rather than a chaotic one-off process. How to Apply Please send: A short summary of your recruiting/HR experience. The types of ecommerce, marketing, creative, or operational roles you have hired for. Examples of roles where you directly sourced or poached candidates. Your process for building a hiring pipeline from scratch. Your availability and expected monthly compensation.
