Role Overview We are seeking an Implementation Manager to lead new client implementations from kickoff through go-live. This role requires strong project management, clear communication, careful follow through, and the ability to learn quickly. Pharmacy Benefits implementation experience is preferred, but not required. A fast learner with strong curiosity, sound judgment, and the discipline to ask good questions can succeed in this role. Responsibilities - Lead client implementations from kickoff through go-live and handoff. - Build and manage implementation plans, timelines, open item lists, risk logs, and status reports. - Coordinate with clients, consultants, brokers, TPAs, vendors, and internal teams. - Document requirements, decisions, approvals, meeting notes, and sign-offs. - Support benefit setup, eligibility file coordination, claims adjudication readiness, and testing. - Identify risks early and escalate delays, missing information, or unresolved decisions. - Facilitate client and internal implementation calls. - Keep stakeholders informed with clear, timely updates. - Make sure implementation work aligns with client service agreements. - Protect confidential information and follow HIPAA, PHI, data security, and compliance requirements. Required Experience - Client-facing project management or implementation experience. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. - Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and moving parts. - Ability to learn new systems, processes, and industry concepts quickly. - Curiosity, good judgment, and comfort asking questions to close knowledge gaps. - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and project management tools. Preferred Experience - PBM, healthcare, benefits administration, TPA, or managed care experience. - PMP or CAPM certification strongly preferred. - IT background strongly preferred, especially experience with system implementations, data integrations, file feeds, EDI, eligibility files, benefit configuration, claims platforms, or vendor system coordination. - Experience with claims adjudication setup, accumulator files, formulary implementation, prior authorization, specialty pharmacy, or pharmacy benefit operations. - Experience with Trello, Asana, Smartsheet, Monday.com, MS Project, or similar tools. - Pharmacy Technician license or national certification. - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent healthcare, PBM, IT implementation, or client service experience. We are looking for someone organized, responsive, detail-oriented, curious, and comfortable holding stakeholders accountable while maintaining a professional client experience.
