Hebrew Reader - Align Handwritten Manuscript Pages to Typed Transcriptions

We are building an AI system to transcribe handwritten Hebrew religious manuscripts. We have ~273 scanned manuscripts (PDFs) with matching typed transcriptions (DOCX files). The transcriptions cover entire documents but are not split page-by-page. We need a Hebrew reader to align each page to its matching text so we can use the data to train our AI model. What You'll Do: - Open a manuscript PDF and the matching DOCX side by side - For each page of the manuscript, identify where that page's content begins and ends in the DOCX - Mark the page boundaries in the DOCX (e.g. insert page break markers or annotate a spreadsheet) - Start with a batch of ~50 pages, with potential for the full collection if quality is good Requirements: - Native or fluent Hebrew reader - Can read handwritten Hebrew cursive (Ashkenazi rabbinic style) - Familiarity with religious texts (Talmud, Gemara, commentaries) is a strong advantage — the manuscripts are Talmudic chiddushim - Strong attention to detail - Reliable communication and delivery Scope: - First batch: ~50 pages across several manuscripts - Content: Talmudic commentary written in blue pen on lined paper - Expected turnaround: 1-2 weeks for the first batch To Apply: - Briefly describe your experience reading handwritten Hebrew - Are you familiar with Talmudic/rabbinic texts? - How quickly could you complete 50 pages?
