Help with Google workspace

Summary

I recently updated my website and in doing so I found out that someone had "stolen" my domain name. I had to purchase a new one and I need to update Google workspace and make sure all my data tied to the old email is not lost. In short I do not have the confidence to change my domain name in Google workspace and would like someone to help me do so in a way I do not loose all the data. I looked it up on ChatGBT and I feel as if I would mess it up.
