Heritage Brand Acquisition Associate

I am building a company that acquires forgotten luxury and heritage brands. Seeking a highly entrepreneurial researcher to identify luxury, apparel, accessory, and lifestyle brands for potential acquisition. Responsibilities include trademark research, ownership discovery, market analysis, and coordinating acquisition opportunities. The ideal candidate should be- 1)Curious- Go down rabbit holes. 2)Comfortable with ambiguity- There is no instruction manual. 3)A hunter- They enjoy finding obscure information. 4)Resourceful- They don’t stop when Google fails. 5)Good communicator- They can email a French family owner or call an Italian factory. 6)Slightly entrepreneurial- They think, “How could this become something?” This job is not for- A pure administrator- They will create beautiful spreadsheets and find nothing. Someone who needs every step defined- This project will evolve. Someone who only knows big corporate brands- They will miss the hidden opportunities. My dream hire would combine, research discipline + European access + IP/Trademark investigation. This is a part-time role with a focus on long-term collaboration and compensation.
