HIGH-IMPACT SOFTWARE ENGINEER (Java • KYC • Azure) ——————————————————————————— ABOUT US We're an innovative startup building KYC (Know Your Customer) and compliance solutions. We're looking for a versatile Java developer with strong implementation skills who thrives in a fast-moving environment and isn't afraid to tackle whatever it takes to ship great software. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Build cutting-edge KYC components and processes • Own the full software lifecycle — from concept to deployment and operations • Work hands-on with our Azure cloud infrastructure (LLM services, Gateways, etc.) • Go beyond traditional dev work: configure, test, operate REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS • Java — strong proficiency • Container-based build & deployment • Maven — build automation and dependency management • Spring Boot (or similar framework) • Docker — containerization and deployment • REST API design and implementation • Proficient use of coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development NICE TO HAVE • OpenAPI — API specification and documentation • PHP experience • JavaScript / TypeScript — frontend work • OpenAI and Claude APIs — AI integration • Jib — container image building • Web scraping — data extraction WHAT WE VALUE MOST Technical skills matter, but these qualities matter more: • Exceptional learning ability — quick to pick up new tech • Independent, goal-oriented work style • Strong English communication • Adaptability across new domains and subject matters • End-to-end thinking — design and deliver complete solutions WHAT WE OFFER • Challenging work that pushes your boundaries • Growth across multiple technology domains • Direct impact on innovative KYC and compliance products • Flexible startup environment where your contributions matter IDEAL CANDIDATE You're a problem-solver who enjoys variety and isn't intimidated by unfamiliar tech.
