High-Retention Short-Form Video Editor for Golf-Tech Startup

Video Editor for Golf / Sports Social Media Content We are GoCaddie, a golf-tech startup building an AI-powered caddie experience for serious golfers. We are looking for a talented video editor to help turn our raw footage into high-quality social media content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X, and potentially LinkedIn. The work will include editing different types of short-form content: * Creating clips, reels, and shorts from existing longer footage * Editing talking-head videos from scripts we plan and shoot * Editing on-course golf videos filmed during practice or rounds * Adding strong visual hooks, titles, captions, cuts, pacing, music, sound design, and simple graphics where needed * Repurposing content into different formats for different platforms We are looking for someone who understands modern social media editing: fast pacing, strong first 2 seconds, clean captions, punchy storytelling, and content that feels native to TikTok/Reels/Shorts — not overly corporate or generic. You do not need to be a golf expert, but you should be willing to understand the product, the audience, and the tone of the brand. Experience editing sports, creator-led, startup, or educational short-form content is a plus. Ideal fit: * Strong portfolio of short-form social videos * Good sense of hooks, pacing, captions, and retention * Comfortable working with raw footage and turning it into polished content * Able to suggest creative improvements, not just follow instructions * Reliable, organized, and able to deliver consistently * Comfortable with ongoing collaboration and feedback Please include examples of short-form videos you have edited, especially reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, sports content, or founder-led content.
