We are bringing in increasing volumes of new starters, and we need a Sales Trainer who can help turn promising people into productive reps fast. This is not a passive training role. Results: Train and coach new sales hires so they ramp faster and reach required performance standards quickly Improve training quality, call quality, and onboarding consistency across new starter cohorts Support higher Day 1 show-up, graduation, and early productivity through better training delivery and reinforcement Help identify strong reps faster and flag weak reps earlier through structured assessment and QA Improve sales behaviours in training and nesting through better objection handling, call structure, confidence-building, and coachability Reinforce the standards, behaviours, and sales fundamentals that lead to stronger conversion and better downstream performance Help create a more duplicatable, repeatable sales training environment as the business scales Responsibilities: Deliver onboarding and sales training to new starters in a high-volume environment Support reps through early-stage nesting / ramp period and help them build confidence quickly Listen to sales calls, assess quality, and coach reps on how to improve Identify who is ready to progress and who needs more support, coaching, or removal Train around core sales fundamentals including: rapport building call control probing objection prevention objection handling offer communication confidence and tone closing behaviours Run mock calls, roleplays, skills drills, feedback sessions, and one-to-one coaching Work closely with QA / Sales Leadership / Recruitment to improve the quality of hires and the quality of training outcomes Help refine scripts, call structures, training materials, SOPs, scorecards, and coaching frameworks Flag recurring issues in training, messaging, behaviour, or candidate quality that are affecting downstream performance Reinforce a high-performance culture through clear standards, accountability, and recognition Help ensure training is engaging, practical, and performance-oriented rather than overly theoretical Support trainer consistency and standardisation as the team scales What Good Looks Like: New hires feel clear, confident, and better prepared after training Reps improve quickly from feedback and coaching Weak reps are identified early rather than being pushed through Strong reps stand out faster and reach productive levels sooner Training is structured, consistent, and practical Call quality improves during the first days and weeks Sales fundamentals are being reinforced properly, not left to chance There is a tighter link between recruitment quality, onboarding quality, and rep output Requirements: Strong background in sales training, sales coaching, onboarding, nesting, QA, or frontline sales leadership Experience working in a sales-led, high-performance environment Able to coach both new starters and underperforming reps Strong ear for call quality, tone, control, and sales behaviours Able to give direct feedback without demotivating people Comfortable working with scorecards, call reviews, structured assessments, and training plans Strong communication skills and trainer presence Able to create energy in training while still holding standards Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing needs and constant ramping Able to work closely with managers, recruiters, and other trainers Remote training experience is a plus Experience with sales QA, call scoring, or nesting is a plus Experience building training materials, SOPs, or quizzes is a plus Ideal Candidate Profile: Comes from a sales-first environment, not purely general L&D Has trained sales reps directly and knows what good looks like on real calls Understands that training is about performance, not just content delivery Can balance encouragement with standards Notices details that others miss in sales conversations Enjoys helping people improve through repetition, coaching, and feedback Thrives in challenge, pace, and accountability Wants to be part of scaling something meaningful Working Style: Work 6 days / week Work 10 hours / day Comfortable in a high-growth, performance-driven environment Happy to operate with urgency, ownership, and intensity Willing to collaborate closely with Sales Leadership and Recruitment Able to adapt quickly as training needs change
