Ad Hoc Graphic Designer for Pub

We are looking for a reliable graphic designer to provide ongoing ad hoc design support for a pub and hospitality venue. This role will involve creating promotional materials as required throughout the month, often with a turnaround time of one to two business days. The volume of work may vary, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working on a flexible, project-by-project basis. Typical design requests may include: Promotional graphics for featured or seasonal drinks Food and beverage specials Menu updates and inserts Event promotions Social media graphics and advertisements Posters, flyers, table cards and in-venue signage Resizing existing designs into different digital and print formats Updating existing templates with new pricing, offers or information We will provide the brand guidelines, logos, photography, copy and any relevant existing templates where available. The designer will need to apply these consistently while creating polished, engaging designs suited to a pub and hospitality audience. Key requirements Previous graphic design experience, ideally within hospitality, food and beverage, restaurants, pubs or events Ability to complete most design requests within one to two Australian business days Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar design software Experience preparing artwork for both digital and professional printing Strong attention to detail, particularly with pricing, spelling and menu information Ability to work within established branding while still bringing creative ideas Reliable communication and the ability to clearly confirm availability and delivery times Willingness to provide editable source files as part of each completed project This is not a guaranteed set number of hours each week. Work will be provided on an ad hoc basis depending on promotions, menu changes, events and operational requirements.
