Home Care Recruiter & Referral Outreach Caller (Caregiver Interviews)

Senior Helpers of Cincinnati is a locally owned, in-home senior care agency serving the Greater Cincinnati/Hamilton County area. We're looking for someone with real home care industry experience to help us with two connected tasks on an as-needed, project basis. What you'll do: 1. Interview caregiver applicants - Screen and interview candidates who've applied to be in-home caregivers. Assess their experience, reliability, compassion, and fit for one-on-one senior care work. Ask the right home-care-specific questions (certifications, availability, transportation, comfort with personal care tasks) and give us clear notes/recommendations on who to move forward with. 2. Make outreach calls to referral partners - Call skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, rehab centers, assisted living communities, and other discharge-planning contacts in the Cincinnati area to introduce Senior Helpers, build relationships with discharge planners and social workers, and open the door for them to refer patients to us for in-home care after discharge. Each engagement will be a defined batch of work (a set number of interviews and/or a set number of outreach calls) - we'll agree on the exact scope and hours before you start each round, since this is project-based rather than a standing weekly commitment. What we're looking for: - Past experience working in or with a home care, home health, or senior care agency (agency-side experience strongly preferred over just family caregiving experience) - Comfort conducting structured interviews and giving honest, clear candidate assessments - Comfort making cold/warm outreach calls to healthcare facilities and speaking with discharge planners, social workers, or admissions staff - Professional, warm phone manner - you're representing our brand on every call - Reliable internet/phone setup for remote video interviews and outbound calls - Bonus: familiarity with home care scheduling software (WellSky/ClearCare) or experience with skilled nursing discharge/referral processes This is fully remote - all interviews and calls can be done by phone/video, no need to be local to Cincinnati, though familiarity with the Cincinnati healthcare/senior care landscape is a plus.
