Here's a job description for a Hotel Management Trainer role: Job Title: Hotel Management Trainer Department: Training & Development / Academics Reports To: Head of Training / Academic Coordinator Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Hotel Management Trainer to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for students or staff in hospitality operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong industry knowledge, hands-on experience across hotel departments, and the ability to translate real-world practice into engaging, structured learning. Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver training modules covering Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage Service, Food Production, and Hospitality Management fundamentals Develop lesson plans, presentations, assessments, and practical demonstrations aligned with curriculum or organizational standards Conduct classroom sessions, workshops, and hands-on practical training (e.g., table setting, guest handling, kitchen basics) Evaluate trainee performance through tests, role-plays, and practical assessments; provide constructive feedback Stay current with industry trends, service standards, and hospitality technology to keep content relevant Coordinate industrial visits, guest lectures, or internship placements where applicable Maintain training records, attendance, and performance documentation Mentor students/trainees on soft skills, grooming, and professional etiquette expected in the hospitality industry Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Catering, or related field (BHMCT preferred) Minimum 3-5 years of industry experience in hotels, restaurants, or hospitality operations Prior training, teaching, or mentoring experience preferred Strong communication and presentation skills Sound knowledge of hospitality operations, service standards, and hygiene protocols Proficiency in creating training materials (PowerPoint, handouts, assessments) Patient, approachable, and able to motivate learners at different skill levels Preferred Skills: Exposure to F&B service, culinary basics, and front office systems Experience working with aviation/hospitality crossover training is a plus Familiarity with LMS or digital training tools Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time / contract Location: vadodara, gujarat Salary: (specify or "Based on experience")
