Hotel Room Conversion to Serviced Apartment (Interior Design) - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Looking for an experienced hotel room designer to help refresh room (approx 25 SQM) and corridor. Please submit your portfolio. Priority given to those who have designed for hotel rooms and/or serviced apartments. Selected candidate will be given floor plans and pictures/ videos of the actual rooms for reference and a brief of operational requirements. You will be required to refresh hotel rooms with the following objective and parameters: - design and material selection befitting of 4* hotels - design with intent for rooms to photograph well so as to stand out on websites, OTA, socials. plus point if there's a talking point/ memorable for guests/ design feature that is eye catching - plus point if there's sustainability and/or local angle in design - furniture selection are encouraged to be modular in nature to ease on-site install process. we will be working with locally sourced suppliers. you will be required to assist/ review supply if it needs to be custom made Deliverable: - design concept and photorealistic render of your design (room + kitchenette + toilet). NO drawings/ drafting required - we have attached a word file using AI for brief idea of how room is to look like for space planning and modularity of furniture. please do not follow same concept as it is too middle eastern. we want a modern, contemporary look for the business traveller, yet infused with some cultural aspect unique to malaysia Deliverables • design renders - various perspectives • material schedule • sufficient info for our local supplier to manufacture/ source • respond to clarifications from time to time as required during execution process
