Hydraulic Expert for Excavator Attachment
Worldwide
We have developed an excavator-mounted suction attachment that is powered by the auxiliary / breaker circuit of a JCB JS205 excavator. The attachment includes: One hydraulic fan motor requiring up to approximately 200 l/min at 300 bar Three hydraulic cylinders: Two cylinders for opening and closing the bottom discharge doors One cylinder for moving the suction pipe left and right A 12V remote-control system 12V hydraulic valves for remote operation of the cylinder functions During normal operation, the fan motor runs continuously and the cylinders must remain closed/locked. The fan motor requires a high-flow, high-pressure hydraulic circuit. The cylinders, however, require significantly lower flow rate and lower pressure than the fan motor. The hydraulic design should therefore separate or properly reduce/control the flow and pressure for the cylinder functions. When the attachment needs to be emptied, the fan motor must be switched off and allowed to coast down safely. The hydraulic circuit must prevent cavitation, pressure spikes, hard motor stopping, or damage to the fan motor. After the fan is stopped or safely isolated, the operator must be able to remotely operate the cylinders to open and close the bottom doors and move the suction pipe. We need an experienced hydraulic engineer to design a practical and economical solution for this system. Required deliverables: Hydraulic circuit diagram Bill of materials with suitable valves, manifolds, safety components, flow control, pressure relief, anti-cavitation protection, pressure reduction for the cylinder circuit, and required fittings Recommendation for the most practical and cost-effective component layout Basic explanation of operating modes: Fan operation Fan shutdown / freewheel / safe coast-down Cylinder operation for emptying with reduced flow and pressure Return to normal suction operation The solution should consider: High fan motor flow rate of up to 200 l/min Fan motor operating pressure of up to 300 bar Much lower flow and pressure requirements for the cylinder functions 12V DC remote control Safe fan motor run-out without cavitation Protection of cylinders from excessive pressure and flow Practical sourcing and assembly Robust field use on construction equipment Experience with mobile hydraulics, excavator auxiliary circuits, hydraulic fan motor circuits, anti-cavitation protection, flow reduction, pressure reduction, and cartridge/manifold valve design is required. Experience with sourcing hydraulic components in the UAE would be beneficial, but it is not mandatory. Please apply only if you have proven experience with mobile hydraulic systems and can provide practical component recommendations, not just a theoretical diagram.
