IFA 2026 Video Production – September in Barcelona

Digital Trends is looking for an experienced Berlin-based videographer to support our coverage of IFA 2026. This role will cover a mix of editorial and sponsored videos produced on the show floor and at nearby locations. We're looking for a reliable, fast-moving professional who is comfortable operating as a solo shooter in a fast-paced event environment. There may also be opportunities to provide light editing support for quick-turnaround content. Responsibilities / Deliverables - Attend IFA 2026 in Berlin, Germany (show dates: September 4–8, 2026; exact coverage dates TBD) - Capture high-quality video, including booth tours, product demos, interviews, hands-on footage, and event B-roll - Work closely with our on-camera host to execute a daily production schedule - Organize and deliver footage each day (same-day delivery preferred when possible) - Optional: Edit short-form or quick-turnaround videos during the event Required Skills - Proven experience filming live events, conferences, or trade shows (IFA, CES, MWC, or similar experience is a plus) - Ability to operate independently as a one-person camera crew - Strong communication skills and a dependable, professional work style - Comfortable working in busy, fast-moving environments with changing schedules - Access to professional camera, audio, lighting, and stabilization equipment - Conversational English proficiency with the ability to communicate clearly throughout production Please Include the Following in Your Proposal - Your availability during September 3–8, 2026 - Your day rate for videography and, if applicable, your editing rate - Links to examples of event, technology, or trade show coverage you've filmed - Details of any experience covering IFA or other major international technology events - A list of the camera, audio, and support equipment you plan to use We're keeping our production crew intentionally lean, so we're looking for someone who can move quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and consistently capture polished footage with minimal direction.
