ITN 2 Cantonese (China) Verbatim & Annotation

We are looking for native Cantonese (China) speakers to join a speech annotation project involving Verbatim Transcription, ITN Annotation, and QA Review. The project requires listening to recorded audio, transcribing the speech exactly as spoken (verbatim), and applying ITN (Inverse Text Normalization) annotations according to the provided guidelines. Annotators must accurately capture filler words, hesitations, repetitions, and non-speech events while applying the appropriate ITN tags. After submission, all completed tasks will undergo a Quality Assurance (QA) review. Any rejected tasks must be corrected and resubmitted based on the reviewer feedback. Responsibilities Listen to audio recordings carefully. Produce accurate verbatim transcriptions. Apply ITN annotations according to the project guidelines. Label filler words, hesitations, and non-speech events where applicable. Perform a self-QA review before submission. Address reviewer feedback and complete rework if required. Project Details Task: Verbatim Transcription + ITN Annotation Platform: Internal annotation tool. Batch Size: Each batch consists of 400 audio tasks. QA Process: Every submitted batch will undergo a QA review. Payment will be processed after the batch successfully passes QA. Rework may be required if quality issues are identified. Flexible working hours Detailed training and annotation guidelines will be provided before project commencement. Requirements Native Cantonese (China) speaker. Excellent listening and writing skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow detailed annotation guidelines. Previous transcription or annotation experience is preferred but not mandatory. Computer with a stable internet connection.
