Illustrate Poem in Cartoon Style

I am seeking an illustrator to create simple cartoon-style images for a poem I wrote about my sister who passed away. The poem is included below. The project is personal and emotional, and I am looking for someone who can bring sensitivity and creativity to the illustrations. I do not have the bandwidth to map out the scenes. The ideal candidate will have experience in cartoon art and be able to deliver high-quality images within a short timeframe, and I can trust them to create everything without tons of input. The light refracts through your essence and you don’t merely reflect. You absorb, illuminate, and radiate. People like to say: “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.” Yet your intrinsic, natural, and pure way of existing taught me not that we must be strong, but that others ought to shift like you, even just 2%. And that if we can shift for others, and adjust just a tad, we can make this harsh place a little bit more beautiful. You were never fragile to me. You were delicate, like the transparent wings of a butterfly. Like the featherlight starfish in the sea that absorb the ocean’s nutrients, and sometimes its pollution, taking it all on at once, even when it became overwhelming. You are my bird — my precious angel songbird. You may think I am the songbird. But no, dear one, you are the starling and the nightingale. Singing songs of joy and sorrow inspired by those around you. You didn’t just live in this world. You inhabited it like grass, like the swaying oak trees on Creekside Drive, and you felt everything with an intensity that aspiring artists and writers can only imagine. You used to say you got hungry when actors ate on screen. Your empathy knew no bounds. Even when it cost you. Yet I may begin to understand, slowly, that this empathy was your God given gift. It exposed the essence of others — you, a starfish absorbing sea currents, a song bird mimicking the tunes you heard — to act as a mirror to this world. I think of you not as a moth, but a firefly. Drawn not to light — as you had your own — but to dark places where you could share your goodness. You are my baby sister. My angel. My songbird, my sea creature, my hopeful and loving girl with the aching heart. I promise to be better for you. To be kinder. To listen with more patience. To soften my words when my instinct is to buckle and straighten. I hope one day I can gain a fraction of your empathy and goodness. I love you forever and always. Endlessly.
