Illustrator/Animator

We are a group of scientists and PhD students who are creating a line of detail-rich, vibrant, educational posters with fascinating insights. We need an expert illustrator and/or animator who can work completely by hand and without AI AT ALL. This is a very important point! We ONLY work with real human beings who do their own thinking and this job is no exception, so if you would use AI for any of this work, please do not apply. All of the actual scholarship (text/information) for the poster will, of course, be provided for you from our experts, along with guidance for the layout but the rest will be up to you. The scope for this project is just one poster for now, with the possibility of further work depending on the first one goes. If you are confident in creating an enormous illustrated world that will be visually rich, emotionally engaging, full of tiny details you notice on a second viewing, and that is meticulously art-directed, you are welcome to apply. Please note that we are only looking for someone who is in the United States or Canada, who has a Top Rated or Top Rated Plus rating on Upwork, has made $10K + on Upwork doing this kind of work, and who speaks English natively. If you don't meet those requirements you will not receive a reply.
