Illustrator / Graphic Designer to Convert Paintings to Coloring Book Pages (Paid Test Task)

We are looking for a talented illustrator or graphic designer for a long-term working relationship. We have upcoming projects that require converting complex, colorful paintings into clean, high-quality coloring book pages. Because this requires a specific eye for detail and line work, we are starting with a paid test task. If your work matches our quality standards, you will be shortlisted for our future, ongoing projects! The Test Task: We will provide you with an original painting. Your job is to convert it into a pure black-and-white coloring book outline. I have attached a reference guide to this job post. Please review it carefully, as it outlines the exact process and expectations. Your process should generally involve: Converting the image to grayscale. Increasing contrast to define shapes. Simplifying textures and removing small brush marks. Creating the final pure black-and-white line art. What We Are Looking For: Clean, Confident Lines: No sketchy, gray, or broken lines. Gaps must be closed. Smart Simplification: You must know how to group similar areas and avoid tiny, delicate details that are impossible for someone to actually color. Composition: The final outline must maintain the overall flow and recognizability of the original painting. Software Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, or similar software. Deliverables for this Milestone: 1x High-resolution (300 dpi minimum) black & white outline of the provided painting. The raw source file (e.g., .PSD, .AI, or .PROCREATE).
