Illustrator for Children's Book

The first book, working title "Two Houses, One Tatum," is a complete 28-page manuscript (14 spreads) for ages 5-8, following a child navigating two households after their parents' divorce. The story and illustration notes are fully drafted and ready to share. A unique part of this project: each book is illustrated once, then produced in 4 character variants where only the protagonist's appearance changes (name, race, gender) -- backgrounds, supporting characters, and scenes stay identical. I'm looking for an illustrator who can do the base illustration set, then redraw just the protagonist across the same scenes for each variant (much lower cost than 4 full illustration sets). If you work in layered files (Procreate, Photoshop, Clip Studio) this is especially easy to scope. I'd love to see your portfolio, especially any picture book or character-driven work. I have a full project brief with scope, deliverables, timeline, and budget guidance ready to share, plus the complete manuscript with spread-by-spread illustration notes.
