Illustrator needed for innovative history video project

Briefly is a social enterprise that creates high quality content on complex legal issues. We are creating a set of historical explainer videos - these videos are designed to explain the origins of things we often take for granted in the modern era. We need to create a set of full-screen illustrations to provide flavor and context for a set of influencer-style videos on these topics - most likely aimed at YouTube. We are looking for a versatile illustrator to generate these images. These drawings should be in a rough and loose style - please see the reference images below. We will need the illustrator to be able to work in and expand upon this style. We prefer Adobe workflows, but the illustrator can work in their preferred software, as long as deliverable formats will work with After Effects (i.e. .pngs, etc.). To get started, we're looking for someone make about 6 of these illustrations. If things go well, this could become a regular gig, as we expand the video series.
