Illustrator — redraw and extend an existing hand-drawn character

About the project I run Ollie, a small UK software product for local businesses. Ollie is also our mascot — a single recurring character who appears across our social media, website and print material. The character already exists and is locked. I'm not looking for a new design or a rebrand. I need him redrawn properly as vector artwork, and extended with more poses and expressions. What I already have Seven finished illustrations of the character in a consistent style: standing, holding a phone, waving, celebrating, pointing, thinking, and sitting with a laptop. These will be supplied as the style reference and are the definition of "correct". They're raster only, roughly 1000px, which is the core problem — I can't scale them, can't crop close to the face, and can't recolour them. Disclosure: the reference images were originally generated with an AI image tool. I'm hiring a human illustrator to redraw them properly as clean vector artwork and to extend the set. If that's something you'd rather not work from, no hard feelings — please skip this one. What I need 1. Redraw the existing 7 poses as clean vector, matching the reference style closely. 2. Draw ~15 new poses, listed below. Full body Arms folded, unimpressed — deadpan Head in hands, exasperated (comic, not bleak) Leaning casually against an edge Mid-stride, walking Shrugging Checking a watch Slumped at a desk, tired Head and shoulders — drawn as close-ups, not crops These need to be drawn at close-up scale with the detail that implies. Cropping in from a full-body drawing won't work. Deadpan, straight face Wince / grimace Eye-roll Knowing half-smile Eyebrows raised, surprised Mid-sentence, explaining something Face only, tight Neutral Wry half-smile Style lock — please don't change these Late twenties, slightly cheeky, friendly Five-panel cap Round glasses Casual jacket worn open over a plain t-shirt Dark trousers Trainers Hand-drawn bold ink look — loose, confident line, visible brush character Single flat ink colour. No shading, no gradients, no colour fills, no outlines in a second colour. The line quality is the whole point. It should look drawn by hand, not vectorised into something stiff and geometric. Deliverables For each pose: SVG — single flat fill colour, layered sensibly, no clipping masks, no embedded raster images. I need to change the ink colour by editing one fill value. Transparent PNG — 4000px on the longest edge. Plus: All poses drawn to a shared baseline and consistent scale, so they're interchangeable in a template Sensible file names (e.g. ollie-arms-folded.svg) No background baked into any file Happy to run a small paid test first: one redrawn pose plus one new close-up, then continue if the style matches.
