Image Retoucher & Photo Editor

About the Role We're looking for a skilled, detail-obsessed photo retoucher to join our creative team on an ongoing basis. You'll be responsible for delivering polished, high-quality images across a range of projects from e-commerce product shots to editorial and portrait work. We are looking for candidates who take pride in their craft and know how to enhance an image without losing its natural feel. What You'll Do - Perform high-end skin retouching, frequency separation, dodging and burning, liquify and color corrections - Retouch product, fashion, portrait, and/or commercial photography to brand standards - Remove blemishes, distractions, and backgrounds; composite images as needed - Adjust exposure, white balance, color grading, and tonal range - Maintain consistency across large batches of images - Deliver files in specified formats and resolutions within agreed turnaround times - Communicate proactively about timelines, revisions, and any issues with source files Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of professional photo retouching experience - Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop; strong skills in Lightroom or Capture One - Solid portfolio demonstrating a range of retouching styles (please include a link) - Strong understanding of color theory, light, and composition - Experience working with raw files and color-managed workflows - Ability to match a reference style or brand guide precisely - Reliable turnaround and clear communication Nice to Have: - Experience in e-commerce, beauty, fashion, or advertising retouching - Familiarity with batch processing and automation (Photoshop actions, scripts) - Basic knowledge of compositing or CGI integration - Experience using project management or file-sharing tools ( Frame.io in particular)
