InDesign Data Merge & Catalogue Automation - Customer Price Catalogue

We are looking for a freelancer with experience in Adobe InDesign automation, data merge or catalogue publishing to help us automate the production of customer-specific Schedule of Rates PDFs. We will provide a master InDesign catalogue containing product images, descriptions and product codes. The catalogue layout will remain the same for every customer. The project is to develop the technical solution that automatically populates the correct prices from a customer pricing spreadsheet and exports a bespoke PDF for each customer. The workflow - One master InDesign catalogue. - Each product has a unique product code. - We will provide a customer pricing spreadsheet containing product codes and corresponding prices. - The solution should match the product code in the catalogue to the product code in the spreadsheet and insert the correct price. - A PDF should then be generated for each customer. Initially, we expect to produce around 30–50 customer-specific PDFs, but the solution should be reusable so that when prices change or new customer agreements are created, new PDFs can be generated quickly without manual editing.
