Seeking a detail‑driven InDesign Designer for a contract role supporting high‑volume form revisions and marketing collateral production. You’ll work closely with the Lead Designer to build clean, consistent layouts, update existing materials, and prepare both print and digital deliverables with precision. This is a temporary position with the potential for ongoing project work. Role Overview This role is ideal for someone who is highly skilled in the use of Adobe InDesign, is comfortable working within established brand systems, and able to handle fast turnarounds without sacrificing accuracy. You should enjoy structured layout work, form formatting, and production‑focused tasks that require consistency and care. Key Responsibilities Template Development: Build and maintain master templates for multi‑page forms, branded collateral, and repeatable layout systems. Form and Collateral Production: Format dense text blocks, update existing layouts, replace logos and imagery, and ensure brand consistency across all deliverables. File Preparation: Ability to export clean, print‑ready PDFs with correct bleeds and color settings, as well as interactive/fillable PDFs for digital use. Quality Control: Run spell checks, preflight for overset text, confirm link integrity, and flag any layout or resolution issues before delivery. Version Management: Maintain organized file structures, naming conventions, and revision histories across multiple concurrent projects. Required Skills & Qualifications Adobe Creative Suite: Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with particular emphasis on InDesign and Adobe Acrobat Pro. InDesign Requirements: Strong working knowledge of Parent Pages, Paragraph and Character Styles, grids, and template setup. Experience with Form Design: Familiarity with multi‑page forms, creation of fillable form fields, tables, and structured content. Production Fundamentals: Understanding of CMYK vs RGB, bleeds, margins, safe zones, and DPI requirements for both print and screen. Attention to Detail: Ability to spot inconsistencies, formatting errors, and brand deviations across large sets of documents. Brand System Awareness: Ability to work within established guidelines and maintain consistency across high‑volume deliverables. Fast‑Paced Workflow: Comfort working in environments with shifting priorities and tight deadlines. Portfolio: Examples demonstrating clean typography, structured layouts, form design, as well as production‑focused work.
