InDesign Variable-Data Template — A5 Ingredient Sheet (Cosmetic + OTC Drug Facts)

We need an experienced InDesign production designer to build one variable-data template for a printed, one-sided A5 landscape ingredient sheet that ships inside our product trials. Each sheet lists three products (one per column): Product Name, Retail Size, and Full Ingredient List. Some products are OTC drugs needing an FDA-style Drug Facts panel; most are cosmetics that don’t. The same template must handle both — the Drug Facts panel appears only when the data calls for it. We provide a complete written spec, a live HTML reference mock, the brand wordmark, and sample data. Your job is the faithful, production-grade InDesign build. Scope & Deliverables A5 landscape template (210 × 148 mm, one-sided, black-only, Barlow Condensed). Each product as a single auto-height text frame, formatted with paragraph/character styles — no drawn boxes or rule lines. Drug Facts panel via Paragraph Border + Shading so it collapses automatically for non-OTC products. Data Merge (or EasyCatalog/InData) set up so one field set drives both product types; two slot-width masters (equal thirds vs. OTC-wide). Editable .indd + IDML with named styles, a packaged folder (links + fonts), and a press-ready PDF/X from sample data. Required Skills Advanced InDesign: paragraph/character styles, Paragraph Borders, GREP/nested styles. InDesign Data Merge and/or variable-data plugins (EasyCatalog, InData, Typefi). Print production: bleed/safety, K-only color, font packaging, PDF/X export. Bonus: FDA OTC Drug Facts labeling experience.
