Description: We are looking for an experienced InDesign user to deliver a small group training programme for our Executive Assistants and team support staff in Auckland. This is not a generic software course. We are looking for a practitioner who can teach practical, real-world use of InDesign for marketing materials with a particular focus on long-form print work (submissions, pitches, information memoranda) Context Our business produces a high volume of client-facing collateral (brochures, submissions, reports). While we have templates in place, there is a wide variation in technical capability across the user group. As a result, we are seeing inconsistent outputs and a tendency to revert to older materials. We want to lift baseline capability in a structured but practical way. Scope Deliver 2 days of in-person training in Auckland (small group format, approx. 6–10 people) Junior level users Training to be based on real use cases, including: Working within existing templates and understanding how they are structured (styles, master pages) Basic layout principles and type hierarchy A working understanding of colour spaces, particularly RGB vs CMYK General confidence in navigating and using InDesign for day to day marketing outputs Working with templates (styles, master pages) Editing and updating existing documents Managing images and formatting correctly Exporting clean, print-ready PDFs Ideally incorporate our own templates as junior users are provided with material to use. What we are looking for Strong, practical experience using Adobe InDesign in a commercial or agency environment Experience training or mentoring non-designers (EAs, coordinators, junior marketing staff) Ability to simplify workflows and teach “just what matters” rather than everything in the tool Comfortable delivering in-person training in a small group setting Based in Auckland for onsite delivery Nice to have Experience in real estate, professional services, or high-volume marketing environments Broader Adobe Creative Suite experience Ability to recommend simple workflow improvements or best practice Format We are looking to structuring this as: A 2 day course, Time for you to gain basic working familiarity with our brand and templates Please include A short summary of your experience with InDesign Any examples of training or coaching you have delivered Your approach to teaching non-designers Availability for delivery in Auckland
