Independent SaaS Architecture & Code Reviewer - Multi-Tenant Platform

We are a small, founder-led company building a configurable, multi-tenant SaaS platform for local service businesses. A working frontend prototype and detailed planning documents already exist. A separate engineering contractor will first complete a capped, 20-30-hour technical assessment. We need an independent senior reviewer, with no affiliation to that contractor, to evaluate the assessment before Main Street AI decides whether to authorize a production build. This is an independent review and advisory role, not a production-development role. You will report directly to Main Street AI. You will not write or repair the work you are reviewing unless a separate engagement is later authorized and the effect on your independence is addressed. INITIAL REVIEW SCOPE • Review the contractor's assessment artifacts, relevant source code, current technical specification, and proposed architecture. • Evaluate the keep/rebuild/replace/remove recommendations, sequencing, estimates, assumptions, exclusions, and expected third-party costs. • Test the reasoning behind tenant isolation, roles and permissions, configuration-based customer customization, API and secret handling, background-job strategy, webhook resilience, and data protection. • Evaluate the proposed testing, staging, deployment, rollback, monitoring, backup/restore, documentation, and developer-handoff controls. REQUIRED DELIVERABLE • A concise written report that classifies each finding as Critical, High, Medium, Low, or Advisory and explains the evidence, business impact, and required correction or recommendation. • A list of unresolved questions and any verification needed before acceptance. • A plain-language recommendation: Accept, Accept After Required Revisions, or Do Not Accept. • One review call of up to 30 minutes to explain the findings to the founder. QUALIFICATIONS • Demonstrated senior-level experience building or independently reviewing multi-tenant web SaaS systems, including tenant-scoped authorization and data isolation. • Strong knowledge of Node.js/TypeScript, serverless systems, PostgreSQL/RLS, API security, testing, deployment, monitoring, and backup/restore. AI or webhook experience is helpful. • Able to explain technical risk in clear business language and support conclusions with evidence. • Willing to sign an NDA, protect all materials, use only approved access, and disclose any subcontractors in advance. INDEPENDENCE AND PROCESS • Disclose any current or recent relationship with the assessment contractor or any proposed subcontractor. • No financial interest in whether the reviewed work is accepted and no promise of production work. • Initial review is hourly with a written not-to-exceed cap. Additional time or future milestone reviews require written authorization. • During an agreed active review window, respond to reasonable questions within one U.S. business day. Communication with the assessment contractor occurs only when directed by Main Street AI. Please include: one relevant multi-tenant SaaS project and your role; one independent-review example; how you support findings; your rate, estimated hours, availability, and turnaround; and confirmation that you have no known conflict and will personally perform the work.
